Tomorrow's CPI Could Panic $BTC … Nobody Knows the Numbers Yet, But Maybe Meow Does 🚨 90% of traders are busy chasing $BTC 's next long or short move, but the real question is what happens when CPI drops. The other 10%? They're watching the data… and yes, Meow is doing some homework too. 😹 Guys, I collected September gasoline prices from EIA/AAA, used-car data from Manheim, rent estimates from Zillow, food data from USDA, and compared them with the Cleveland Fed nowcast and market expectations. Here is what my calculation suggests: Meow's generated CPI forecast: Headline MoM: +0.50% Headline YoY: 3.60% Core MoM: +0.20% Core YoY: 2.39% Market expectations: Headline MoM: around +0.5% to +0.6% Headline YoY: 3.6%–3.7% Core MoM: +0.2% to +0.3% Core YoY: 2.4%–2.5% And Guys if actual CPI matches my estimate, headline inflation could come in below the higher end of expectations while core stays contained. That could give BTC a short-term relief rally, especially if Treasury yields and the dollar cool down. But if CPI matches the hotter end of market forecasts, or core prints at 0.3%+, BTC could face pressure as traders price in a more hawkish Fed and fewer rate-cut hopes. 90% of traders are busy chasing $BTC 's next long or short move, but the real question is what happens when CPI drops. The other 10%? They're watching the data… and yes, Meow is doing some homework too. 😹

Guys, I collected September gasoline prices from EIA/AAA, used-car data from Manheim, rent estimates from Zillow, food data from USDA, and compared them with the Cleveland Fed nowcast and market expectations.

Here is what my calculation suggests:

Meow's generated CPI forecast:
Headline MoM: +0.50%
Headline YoY: 3.60%
Core MoM: +0.20%
Core YoY: 2.39%

Market expectations:
Headline MoM: around +0.5% to +0.6%
Headline YoY: 3.6%–3.7%
Core MoM: +0.2% to +0.3%
Core YoY: 2.4%–2.5%

And Guys if actual CPI matches my estimate, headline inflation could come in below the higher end of expectations while core stays contained.

One thing, guys: this is Meow's estimate based on available inputs, NOT leaked data or the official BLS calculation. Actual CPI could be cooler or hotter, and some category inputs are proxies rather than fresh September readings. $ZEC

#septembercpiwatch Global financial markets and digital asset trading desks are bracing for the release of the U.S. September Consumer Price Index (CPI) report. With consensus forecasts anticipating headline CPI inflation rising near 3.7% year-over-year, macro traders are positioning for elevated volatility across risk assets as interest rate expectations and Treasury yield movements reprice liquidity conditions. Market Analysis & Structural Assessment Macroeconomic inflation metrics remain the primary catalyst driving short-term institutional capital deployment and yield expectations. A hotter-than-expected CPI print strengthens foreign exchange dollar dominance and upward pressure on bond yields, temporarily suppressing risk-on liquidity across digital asset order books. Conversely, a softer inflation reading decreases tight monetary policy expectations, providing a bullish macro tailwind for benchmark crypto assets and speculative liquidity flows. CPI ALERT! ONE U.S. INFLATION REPORT COULD SHAKE BITCOIN & THE ENTIRE CRYPTO MARKET!

🚨 #SeptemberCPIWatch : ONE INFLATION REPORT COULD SHAKE THE ENTIRE CRYPTO MARKET! 📊🔥
The crypto market is approaching a major macro event. Tomorrow, October 14, all eyes turn to the U.S. September CPI report — a key data release that could influence Federal Reserve expectations, the U.S. dollar, Bitcoin, and altcoins.
⚠️ WHY DOES THIS CPI MATTER?
Markets are watching for headline inflation to rise from 3.4% to around 3.6%–3.7% year over year. Core inflation will be equally important because it helps reveal whether underlying price pressures are cooling or remaining stubborn.
📊 3 SCENARIOS EVERY CRYPTO TRADER SHOULD WATCH
🟢 SCENARIO 1: COOLER-THAN-EXPECTED CPI
• Inflation fears may ease.
• Expectations for tighter monetary policy could weaken.
• Bitcoin and altcoins could receive a risk-on boost.
• Market liquidity expectations may improve.
🔴 SCENARIO 2: HOTTER-THAN-EXPECTED CPI
• The U.S. dollar and Treasury yields could strengthen.
• Expectations for higher interest rates may increase.
• BTC and altcoins could face selling pressure.
• Leverage and liquidation risks could rise sharply.
🟡 SCENARIO 3: CPI MATCHES EXPECTATIONS
• The initial reaction could be mixed.
• Core CPI and the details behind the headline may determine direction.
• Traders may wait for further clues about the Fed's next move.
₿ WHAT SHOULD CRYPTO TRADERS WATCH?
1️⃣ BTC price action: Does Bitcoin hold key support or reject resistance?
2️⃣ ETH and altcoins: Do they outperform BTC, or does capital rotate toward Bitcoin?
3️⃣ DXY — U.S. Dollar Index: A stronger dollar can create headwinds for risk assets.
4️⃣ U.S. Treasury yields: Rising yields can tighten financial conditions.
5️⃣ Open interest and liquidations: Excessive leverage can amplify volatility in either direction.
🔥 THE BIGGEST LESSON
Markets don't react only to whether inflation is high or low. They react to how the actual numbers compare with expectations — and what those numbers imply for future interest rates.
A cooler CPI print does NOT guarantee a rally, and a hotter print does NOT guarantee a crash. Positioning, market sentiment, and the Fed's outlook also matter.

The last CPI report gave traders a reason to pay attention. 🇺🇸 In August, US inflation rose 0.4% month over month, accelerating from July's 0.1%. September CPI Countdown|BNB Rebound Weaker Than BTC|I’m Holding My Position and Not Betting on the Data My stance is cautious to neutral. The trending topic on Binance Square is #SeptemberCPIWatch, and the discussion is about the U.S. inflation data for September, which has not yet been released—not about any positive or negative news that has already emerged. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ October calendar states that September CPI is scheduled for release on Wednesday, October 14, at 08:30 Eastern Time, which is 20:30 Beijing time on Wednesday. September PPI is due at the same time the following day. The Federal Reserve website lists its next policy meeting as October 27–28. First, let’s be clear about the sequence of events: tomorrow evening, we’ll see the actual inflation figures and their components; after that, we’ll need to watch how rate expectations, the dollar, and Treasury yields respond. We shouldn’t treat market forecasts as official results in advance, let alone say that a single CPI report means the Fed has already changed interest rates. The impact on BNB typically comes through two channels. The first is macro risk appetite: if the data comes in above expectations and the expected rate path is revised upward, volatile assets may come under pressure first. If it comes in below expectations, prices could still spike and then retreat if the market has already priced it in. The second channel is BNB itself: whether exchange activity, on-chain applications, and BNB-related products also improve. BNB has uses for gas fees and within its ecosystem, but that doesn’t mean every dollar of capital prompted by CPI will flow into BNB. There’s also a topic on Square today about Bitcoin breaking above $84,000. That concerns BTC price action and can’t simply be applied to BNB as a guarantee of gains. As of 18:39 Beijing time, BNB/USD on Kraken was around $738.9, with a UTC open of 732.45, an intraday low of 721.76, and a high of 746.84. BTC/USD was around $83,266.7, with a UTC open of 81,737.2 and an intraday high of 84,053.1. Roughly measured from each asset’s daily open, BNB was up about 0.9% and BTC about 1.9%. BNB has not shown a clear synchronized breakout that is stronger than BTC’s, and its price has already pulled back from the day’s high. These are just two sets of market data from the same point in time. They don’t prove that CPI expectations are the only factor, nor do they amount to a forecast of tomorrow evening’s direction. For BNB, I’m watching support around the 721–722 intraday low, the opening area near 732, and resistance around the 747 intraday high. Only a move back above 747 that holds would make a short-term strengthening more convincing. A break below 721 that is not quickly recovered would invalidate the bullish thesis. If I were trading this myself, I would generally avoid taking a new directional bet before the data release, keep my spot position empty or very small, and avoid high leverage. If, after tomorrow evening’s release, BNB first makes a sharp move and then returns above 747, holding there for two consecutive 15-minute candles, I would consider trying a long with no more than 4% of my total capital. I’d initially target 760 and take half off there; I’d leave the rest for 772, with a stop-loss exit if the price falls back below 732. If it first breaks below 721, I would cancel the plan to chase a long and wait to reassess after it recovers 732 and stabilizes. If the trigger conditions aren’t met, I’d remain out of the market. This is a set of conditions laid out in advance, not a claim that I’ve already bought or made a profit. Tomorrow evening, the most important things to manage are slippage, misreading the data, and the impulse to chase the first candle. #SeptemberCPIWatch #BNB #BTC The above is solely my personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice.

If that happens, the Fed's plan regarding interest rates for the upcoming meetings will remain unchanged. $POL $OGN

NEAR: $5 support first, $10 ambition next. After rejection near $6.02, NEAR has pulled back toward $5.10. The 4H RSI near 44 shows weakening momentum, so buyers still need to prove strength. $4.89–$5.00 is the immediate support zone. Holding here and reclaiming $5.35 would improve the setup for another test of $5.73–$6.02. For my double-digit outlook, I want a weekly close above $6.02, followed by a successful retest around $6. Strong buying volume and a steadier BTC would strengthen the case. Reaching $10 still requires further breakouts beyond this chart’s visible range. A 4H close below $4.89 would weaken the setup, bringing $4.60 and $4.30 back into focus. I’m watching how NEAR holds support before expecting the next rally. #SeptemberCPIWatch

$XRP Technical Indicators & Key Levels • Crucial Support: The $1.34 – $1.35 zone remains the primary baseline. If buyers successfully defend this level, a renewed bullish bounce targeting $1.45 is highly probable. Conversely, breaking below this support risks a deeper sell-off down to $1.32. • Moving Averages: On daily timeframes, XRP is trading in a tight consolidation range. It faces heavy immediate resistance just overhead at the 25-day EMA ($1.372) and the 99-day EMA ($1.396). • Leverage Warning: The market has recently been over-leveraged with a heavily crowded long-to-short ratio of 2.32, creating a vulnerability to localized flash liquidations if macro factors shift. Fundamental Drivers • Institutional Inflows: Sentiment is buoyed by major developments, including Ripple-backed Evernorth going live on Nasdaq with a massive 473 million XRP treasury, alongside continuous spot XRP ETF weekly net inflows. • Macro Triggers: Traders are closely watching upcoming US CPI economic reports, which are expected to dictate broader crypto market velocity over the coming days. {spot}(XRPUSDT) #SeptemberCPIWatch #StrategyBuys250Bitcoin #BlurPlansToRetireBlurioFrontendOnNov12 #AaveV4DepositsOnArcTop$300M

#SeptemberCPIWatch Why Crypto Traders Are Nervous Right Now 📊 Tomorrow’s inflation number could move crypto, so size your trades carefully. What is CPI? It measures how fast prices are rising in the US. The Fed uses it to decide on interest rates. Why crypto cares: 🔹 Higher inflation = higher rates and a stronger dollar. That usually hurts BTC and ETH. 🔹 Lower inflation = relief. Crypto often rallies. The numbers: 🔹 Release: Wednesday, Oct 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET 🔹 Forecast: 3.7% yearly, up from 3.4% 🔹 The Fed already raised rates in September, and more hikes are possible $BTC is near $84K, waiting for the result. {future}(BTCUSDT) 🧘‍♂️ My plan: I’m not opening big trades before the release. Prices can swing fast in both directions, so I’d wait for the first reaction, then trade smaller. 💬 Will CPI come in hot or cool? Drop your guess 👇 ⚠️ Not financial advice. Tomorrow’s inflation number could move crypto, so size your trades carefully.

What is CPI?

It measures how fast prices are rising in the US. The Fed uses it to decide on interest rates.

Why crypto cares:

🔹 Higher inflation = higher rates and a stronger dollar. That usually hurts BTC and ETH.
🔹 Lower inflation = relief. Crypto often rallies.

The numbers:

🔹 Release: Wednesday, Oct 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET
🔹 Forecast: 3.7% yearly, up from 3.4%
🔹 The Fed already raised rates in September, and more hikes are possible

$BTC is near $84K, waiting for the result.

🧘‍♂️ My plan: I’m not opening big trades before the release. Prices can swing fast in both directions, so I’d wait for the first reaction, then trade smaller.
