A Day of Cleaning Up My Environment 🌍💚

This time, I joined Binance in a clean-up initiative and spent the day cleaning the area along a riverbank.
Something that one of us may think of as “just a small piece of trash” can remain in nature, be carried away by wind or water, become tangled in trees and bushes, and even have a negative impact on animals and plants.
As you can see in the photos, removing the plastic bags and other waste that had become tangled in the branches of the trees required quite a lot of time and effort. Some of the plastic bags had been hanging from the trees for such a long time that they had developed a strange smell, very similar to the smell of horse manure. There were many trees in the area in the same condition, but I was truly happy that I was able to completely free even one tree from those foul-smelling plastic bags.
If one person picks up one piece of trash, one person throws their waste where it belongs, and one person sets a good example for others, we can significantly reduce environmental pollution.
We receive so much from nature - everything that has become an essential part of our lives. That is why we need to live with greater awareness and responsibility toward the environment.
The small area I cleaned today may seem insignificant on a global scale, but to me, this was more than just a clean-up. It was a small step toward reminding myself and others that “Nature does not belong to someone else; it is the home we all share.”
What I liked most about this experience was that the clean-up did not have to end with my own actions. It also gave me an opportunity to encourage others to care for the environment.
If someone who sees this post picks up even one piece of trash tomorrow and puts it in a bin, or reminds their friends and family not to litter, then my small action may inspire another positive action.
We may not be able to change the whole world by ourselves, but we can always start with our own surroundings and the places where we live.
