DeFi gets really interesting when protocols stop acting like isolated islands.

imagine having a financial product that can interact with other onchain applications instead of being locked inside one platform.

that’s the part of composability i find interesting.

one protocol provides the building block.
another can build on it.
users get more ways to use it.

this is why i keep paying attention to Ithaca.

it’s a non-custodial, composable options protocol, and the composable part is what i’m trying to understand better.

because i think the next phase of DeFi won’t just be about creating more protocols.

it’ll be about making the existing pieces work better together.

build the primitive. connect the pieces. let the ecosystem grow.

still learning, but this is the kind of infrastructure i enjoy digging into.
