Zcash Price Forecast: Bullish reversal in ZEC eyes $1,698 peak on NU7 upgrade
Zcash hovers above $1,250 on Wednesday after a 9% surge the previous day, signaling a bullish turnaround.Zcash ETF recorded over $1 million in inflows on Tuesday, suggesting reduced selling pressure after Monday’s $10 million outflow.Zcash's NU7 final mainnet activation is scheduled for November 6, reducing block confirmation time to 25 seconds. Zcash (ZEC) shows signs of bullish recovery above $1,200 on Wednesday, following a 9% rebound the previous day linked to the upcoming NU7 upgrade. Blockworks released a Zcash holders report on Tuesday, highlighting steady network growth. The technical outlook for ZEC is bullish, with bulls eyeing an extended rally toward $1,698. Institutional selling eases ahead of NU7 upgrade Zcash Open Development Lab announced the final mainnet activation decision of the NU7 upgrade scheduled for November 6 at 00:50 GMT. The upgrade focuses on reducing block confirmation time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, improving transaction speed by 3x, retiring the legacy v4 transaction pool, which suspends the ZEC tokens held in the Sprout shielded pool, and introducing the Network Sustainability Mechanism (NSM) that allocates 60% of the fees to the NSM Value Balance and directs the rest to miners. Institutional investors remain under pressure after three consecutive weeks of strong sell-off. SoSoValue data shows the Bitwise’s ZEC-focused Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) recorded $1.61 million in inflows on Tuesday, indicating a near-term positive shift from Monday’s $10.45 million outflows. The weekly trend shows a sharp decline in total outflows from $93.56 million in early October to $19.15 million last week, suggesting that institutional investors are easing selling pressure. On the other hand, Blockworks data show that network transactions climbed 21% to roughly 710,000 over the last three months, with over half of them non-shielded. In addition, the network’s Real Economic Value (REV) rose by almost 85% to $204,000. Zcash trades at $1,260 at press time on Wednesday, extending a bullish near-term bias. On the four-hour chart, ZEC holds above both the 50- and 200-period Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) at $1,181 and $1,230, respectively. The 9% rebound from the previous day breaks above the downward-sloping resistance trendline, which now acts as support around $1,183, reinforcing an upside-skewed structure. Zcash now pushes against the $1,296 horizontal level set by the September 9 high, where a confirmed breakout could extend the rally to the $1,698 peak from September 26. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is near 65 on the four-hour chart, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line holds a positive upward trend, hinting at persistent buying pressure rather than exhaustion. On the downside, immediate support is seen at the 200-period EMA at $1,230, followed by a structural zone defined by the former resistance trend-line break near $1,183 and the 50-period EMA at $1,181. #zcash #Zcash #CryptoAnalysis #TechnicalAnalysis #MA #MACD #BollingerBands #PriceAction #BearMarket
BNB Chain Burned 1.65 Million BNB Worth Around $1.2B
BNB Foundation completed the 37th quarterly BNB token burn.It removed 1.65 million BNB worth about $1.2 billion from circulation. After the operation, the asset’s supply fell to 131.51 million BNB. On October 19, 2026, BNB Foundation announced the completion of its 37th quarterly BNB burn. As part of the procedure, 1,646,196.44 BNB worth about $1.2 billion at the exchange rate at the time of the operation was removed from circulation. After the burn, the cryptocurrency’s total supply stood at 131,512,085 BNB. The data is current as of 10:05 UTC on October 19. The asset barely reacted to the news: The operation was carried out directly on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) network. The tokens were sent to a special address from which they cannot be withdrawn. To reduce BNB supply, the Auto-Burn mechanism is used. It automatically determines the size of the quarterly burn based on the token’s market price and the number of blocks produced on BSC. The ultimate goal is to reduce supply to 100 million BNB. BNB Foundation noted that after the Lorentz and Maxwell upgrades, the network began producing blocks more frequently. As a result, the developers adjusted the parameters of the Auto-Burn formula while preserving its original operating principle. In addition, BSC uses the BEP-95 mechanism, which provides for the ongoing burn of a portion of transaction fees. Its volume depends on network activity. As a reminder, in July 2026, BNB Chain conducted its 36th quarterly burn, destroying about 1.62 million BNB worth $931.7 million. Previously, we reported that the BNB Chain team announced a next-generation L1 blockchain for agentic trading, with a launch planned for 2027. #BNB_Market_Update #bnb #Binance
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is building a new programming language for the network
Hoskinson said on X the language will bundle transaction requests with cryptographic proofs. He hasn’t shared a name, specs or a release date. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is writing a new programming language for his blockchain. He says it will be the first to combine what a user wants a transaction to do with cryptographic proof that the rules were followed. “I’m actually personally developing a programming language for Cardano,” Hoskinson wrote on X on Sunday, adding that he’s working on it with Lucas Rosa, a software engineer at Input Output Global who co-created Aiken, one of Cardano’s main smart contract languages. That’s not something most founders do once their network is this big. Hoskinson runs a company full of engineers and is still choosing to write the tool future Cardano apps could be built on himself. The language would support three tools: transaction intents, proof-carrying data and Groth16 proofs. An intent lets a user say what they want done and leave the steps to the app. A trader could ask to swap one token for another only if the final price meets set conditions, without spelling out how to get there. Proof-carrying data attaches cryptographic evidence to a piece of information, showing it follows certain rules. Another app can check that evidence without redoing every calculation behind it. Groth16 is a widely used proof system that produces tiny proofs computers can check quickly. Those proofs can show a condition was met without revealing the private data used to meet it. Together, they could let developers build apps that coordinate trades, check complicated conditions, and pass verified information between services, with Cardano checking a small proof at the end. Cardano developers already write smart contracts in Plutus, which is built on the programming language Haskell, and in Aiken. Midnight, the privacy-focused blockchain built by Hoskinson’s company Input Output Global, has its own language, Compact, for apps that handle confidential data. Meanwhile, Hoskinson hasn’t shared the new language’s name, any public code, or a date when developers can start using it. #ADABullish #altcoins #ADA!

Govt ordered to return 497.82 bitcoin to 9 cheated in scheme
High Court finds that they were cheated by two men who promised 1% daily returns, with funds moved through a 'layering process'. The Kuala Lumpur High Court ordered the 497.82 bitcoin to be distributed among nine claimants in proportion to the amounts they deposited. (AFP pic) KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has ordered the government to return 497.82 bitcoin, valued at US$17.6 million based on 2023 valuations, to nine people who were cheated in an investment scheme promising daily returns of 1%. The bitcoin was seized from two cryptocurrency wallets linked to Fadino Khairuman and Asyran Ismail. Justice Arief Emran Arifin allowed the claims by the nine individuals, who deposited a total of 362.04 bitcoin into a wallet belonging to Bitkingdom between 2015 and 2016 after being misled by Fadino. The bitcoin was subsequently transferred from the Bitkingdom wallet to wallets belonging to Fadino and Asyran. Arief found that the nine had proven they were cheated by the two men, who made false representations about the promised daily returns. He said the bitcoin had gone through a “layering process” as a result of the transactions. “The claimants did not lend their bitcoin to the respondents, and they are not asserting a debt,” he said. “They are saying that the bitcoin was obtained from them by cheating, and that the bitcoin, or what now stands in its place, is still theirs.” He said each claimant had proven on a balance of probabilities that he or she deposited the amount of bitcoin claimed into Bitkingdom, and had a legitimate legal interest in the seized property.
Bitcoin whale moves $34 million in BTC it got in 2013 when coins traded at $131
A bitcoin wallet dormant since 2013 moved 411 BTC, now worth about $34 million. It is one of several long-dormant wallets to wake up recently. A bitcoin BTC $82,897.35 wallet, dormant since 2013, came back to life On Sunday, the wallet moved all 411.45 of its BTC to a new address, according to blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence. At today’s price of about $82,600 per coin, that stash is worth roughly $34 million. When the owner first acquired those coins, the entire balance was worth just $54,000. This awakening is part of a broader trend of historic supply shifting wallets this month. Just a day prior, two other wallets dormant for over a decade moved a combined 417 Bitcoin, and the week before, a large whale wallet static since the pre-Covid crash migrated its funds. The pattern is highly reminiscent of 2025, when isolated mega-whales repeatedly woke up from a prolonged slumber. Just like last year, these sudden movements of long-dormant supply tend to spark speculation about a potential sale. But, as was the case then, most of the coins have been moved to new private wallets, a sign of custodial maintenance rather than an impending market dump. The specific wallet behind Sunday's move received the bulk of its funds, some 411 BTC, on Sept. 11, 2013. Back then the cryptocurrency traded around $131. Over the next 13 years, the owner didn't buy, sell, or move a single coin. They simply sat tight as the asset's value skyrocketed more than 600 times, holding through three halvings, the 2017 boom, the 2022 FTX collapse, and the launch of spot bitcoin ETFs in 2024. While the owner remained completely inactive, the wallet itself did see some activity over the years. Dozens of tiny deposits trickled in, each worth less than a dollar. Several came from addresses that Arkham labels as phishing. It’s a common scam tactic known as “address poisoning.” Fraudsters send trace amounts of crypto ("dust") to high-value wallets, hoping the owner will accidentally copy the scammer's address from their transaction history during a future transfer. The whale didn't fall for it. At 18:23 UTC on Sunday, the owner sent the entire fortune to a new address, paying a transaction fee of just 337 satoshis, a fraction of a single cent. So far, the funds have not been moved to an exchange. The new destination wallet has only received this single transfer and has not initiated any outgoing transactions. That lack of movement points to routine custodial housekeeping rather than a market sell-off. The original 2013 wallet relied on an outdated address format, whereas the new destination utilizes SegWit (P2WPKH type), which is the modern standard that offers better security and lower transaction fees. Long-dormant holders frequently migrate to these upgraded formats to secure their assets before making any major financial moves.
Top 3 Price Prediction: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple – BTC, ETH and XRP under pressure as key supports
Bitcoin price hovers around the lower consolidation range at $65,729, a firm close below suggests a deeper correction ahead.Ethereum steadies around $1,950 after being rejected by the upper consolidation boundary the previous week. XRP finds support around the lower trendline, a breakdown below this structure would likely trigger a corrective move. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) prices trade on the back foot at the start of this week on Monday, after extending losses in the previous week. BTC is on the brink of a breakdown, ETH is capped below key resistance, and XRP risks a crack of the trendline. Meanwhile, the broader market sentiment remains risk-off, as the escalating military aggression in the Middle East over the weekend continues to weigh on the crypto market. Bitcoin could extend its correction if it closes below key support Bitcoin price has been finding support around the lower consolidation range at $65,729 since Friday, with the price hovering there. As of writing on Monday, BTC is trading at $66,000, nearing this support level. If BTC breaks and closes below the lower consolidation range at $65,729, it could extend the decline toward Tuesday’s low at $62,510. A close below this level could extend losses toward the key support at $60,000. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart is 39, below the neutral 50 level, indicating bearish momentum gaining traction. However, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) showed a bullish crossover on February 15 that remains intact, suggesting a positive outlook. BTC/USDT daily chart If the lower consolidation range at $65,729 continues to hold and BTC recovers, the first significant resistance area emerges at the upper boundary of the consolidation range at $71,746. Ethereum faces rejection from the upper consolidation range Ethereum price faced rejection near the upper consolidation boundary at $2,149 and declined slightly last week. As of Monday, it hovers at $1,940. If ETH continues to correct, it could extend the decline toward the lower consolidation range at $1,747. Like Bitcoin, ETH’s momentum indicators show mixed signals: the RSI points to bearish pressure, while the MACD suggests a potential recovery could be brewing. ETH/USDT daily chart On the other hand, if ETH recovers, it could extend the advance toward the upper consolidation range at $2,149. XRP risks trendline crack XRP price has been finding support around the lower trendline boundary of a falling wedge since last week. This trendline roughly coincides with the weekly support level at $1.30, making it a key support zone. As of writing on Monday, XRP continues to find support around this level. If XRP fails to find support around the trendline and corrects, it could extend the decline toward the weekly support at $1.30. A close below this level could extend the losses toward the February 6 low of $1.11. Like Bitcoin and Ethereum, XRP’s momentum indicators also show mixed signals, indicating indecision among traders as the price hovers near a key support zone. XRP/USDT daily chart However, if the lower trendline boundary holds as support, it could extend the recovery toward the key psychological $1.50 level.

Esports Giant Team Liquid Taps Walrus to Future-Proof 250TB of Match Footage and Brand Content
Team Liquid, the most successful organization in esports history, today announced a major migration of content to Walrus. The collaboration sees the largest single dataset entrusted to the protocol to date, transitioning years of match footage, behind-the-scenes clips, and other beloved Team Liquid content from physical storage to the highly performant, decentralized data layer. The move creates immediate efficiencies for Team Liquid: streamlining data access for its global team, removing silos, eliminating single points of failure, and future-proofing the organization’s core data infrastructure. By entrusting Walrus with its vast library of multimedia content, Team Liquid transforms its archive from static files into onchain-compatible assets. This provides Team Liquid with the optionality to leverage the Sui Stack for future novel use cases, such as granting access to never-before-seen content or opening up new monetization opportunities, without ever needing to migrate the data again. Team Liquid’s 250TB migration marks another milestone moment for Walrus, driving total data stored to new highs. It is further proof that Walrus is engineered for the world’s biggest stages, capable of handling enterprise-scale data and meeting the performance requirements of major global organizations. Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive of the Walrus Foundation, commented on the announcement: “This partnership is about what becomes possible with data beyond storage. For Team Liquid, moving content to Walrus provides a foundation that’s reliable at scale, fast to work with across teams, and flexible enough to support new ways of using and monetising content over time, without needing to move or rebuild data as new use cases emerge. That’s becoming essential for organizations whose data is meant to both last and be actively leveraged.”

Binance Wins Full ADGM Approval for Exchange, Clearing, and Brokerage Operations
Abu Dhabi’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority has granted licenses to three Binance entities covering exchange, clearing, and brokerage functions. What to know: Binance has received authorization from Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADMG) to operate under a comprehensive exchange, clearing, and brokerage framework. The approval allows Binance to structure its operations into three regulated entities under the Nest brand, covering exchange, clearing, and trading functions.Binance's presence in Abu Dhabi aligns with regulatory standards and underscores the region's role as a hub for financial innovation. Binance has secured authorization from Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADGM), Abu Dhabi's special economic zone for finance, to operate under a comprehensive exchange, clearing, and brokerage framework according to a press release from Binance. The approval breaks Binance’s business into three regulated components that mirror a traditional market stack in a traditional finance exchange. Binance’s ADGM presence will be organized under three locally incorporated entities branded as Nest, a regulatory requirement that allows the Financial Services Regulatory Authority to supervise each function separately. Nest Exchange has been licensed as a Recognized Investment Exchange to operate spot and derivatives trading. Nest Clearing and Custody has been authorized as a Recognized Clearing House with additional custody and CSD permissions, giving the regulator oversight of clearing, settlement, and asset safeguarding. Nest Trading has been approved as a broker-dealer covering off-exchange and OTC activity. Although structured under the Nest brand, all three entities are controlled by Binance and serve as the licensed infrastructure through which Binance.com will operate in Abu Dhabi, aligning the platform with the market-structure standards regulators are pushing global exchanges to adopt. Richard Teng, Binance’s co-CEO, said the framework reflects a commitment to “compliance, transparency, and user protection,” while His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, ADGM’s chairman, said Binance’s arrival underscores Abu Dhabi’s role as a “leading international hub for innovation, sustainable growth, and the future of finance.” Binance and ADGM did not respond to a CoinDesk request for comment on the possibility of moving its global headquarters to Abu Dhabi. Binance has been on the hunt for a jurisdiction to call home for some time, with Teng telling CoinDesk in 2024 that the process would take some time and the company needed to be "thoughtful" about it. #Binance #CryptoNewss #BinanceBlockchainWeek
Binance delegation meets PM Shehbaz, Field Marshal Asim Munir
Pakistan signals strong commitment to Digital Asset Regulation Pakistan government signaled on Saturday strong commitment to Digital Asset Regulation in a meeting held with a delegation of cryptocurrency exchange Binance.Senior leadership from Binance, including Global CEO Richard Teng, visited Islamabad for high level engagements with the country’s top leadership. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended the meeting. Bilal bin Saqib, Chairman Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA,) also attended the meeting and gave a briefing on his organisation, as per a statement from the Prime Minister’s House (PMO). The development came a day after a high-level consultative meeting was convened at the Finance Division, co-chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Chairman of PVARA Bilal Bin Saqib, to discuss and advance work on Pakistan’s National Digital Asset Framework. Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) along with presidents and executives of Pakistan’s leading commercial banks and senior leadership from Binance, including Global CEO Richard Teng, participated in the discussion. “The session reviewed Pakistan’s next steps toward building a secure, well-regulated, and innovation-driven digital asset ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on responsible operationalisation of on- and off-ramp infrastructure, enhanced compliance standards, improved market transparency, and stronger integration of regulated financial institutions,” the Finance Division said in a statement on Friday. During the meeting, Senator Aurangzeb acknowledged that Pakistan digital asset adoption reflected an “irreversible global trend and underscored the economic opportunity to bring citizen-held virtual assets within formal monitoring structures”. “Such integration would strengthen financial visibility, support creditworthiness assessments, and enhance national asset reporting without conferring legal tender status on digital assets,” the Finance Division said. The meeting also reviewed the development of a structured licensing regime for Virtual Asset Service Providers to enhance transparency, meet global AML/CFT standards, attract institutional participation, and protect Pakistani users from the risks associated with unregulated offshore platforms. However, Bilal bin Saqib has resigned from his post as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, it emerged last week. Saqib, who was appointed Minister of State on May 26, 2025, stepped down after just a few months in office, according to reports. Despite stepping down from his government role, reports indicated that Saqib will continue to serve as Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the autonomous body tasked with overseeing the country’s virtual assets sector. #cryptocurreny #Binance #btcnews
Crypto Today: Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP pare gains despite increasing hopes of upcoming Fed rate cut
Bitcoin struggles under $94,150 resistance even as investors continue to almost fully price in a Fed rate cut next week.Ethereum builds recovery momentum above $3,100, supported by a MACD buy signal. XRP edges lower below the 50-, 100, and 200-day EMAs as risk-off sentiment persists.
Bitcoin (BTC) is steadying above $91,000 at the time of writing on Friday. Resistance at $94,150 capped recovery on Wednesday, but in the meantime, bulls have contained downside risks above $90,000. Ethereum (ETH) remains above $3,100, reflecting positive sentiment ahead of the Federal Reserve's (Fed) monetary policy meeting on December 10. Ripple (XRP), on the other hand, is edging lower toward the $2.00 pivotal level as sentiment surrounding the token remains weak. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP hold firm ahead of Fed monetary policy meeting The next Fed interest rate decision is expected on December 10, and markets, including crypto, are pricing in an 87% probability of a 25-basis-point cut from 3.75–4.00% to 3.50–3.75%. If the majority of Fed officials vote in favor of lowering rates by 25 bps, this would mark the third rate cut this year following the reductions in September and October. Market participants highlight a cooling labor market in the United States (US) and slightly easing inflation as the main factors supporting a rate cut. FedWatch Tool | Source: CME Group Fed Chair Jerome Powell said in October that a December rate cut was not guaranteed and that the central bank would base its decision on economic data. The uncertainty surrounding the Fed's monetary policy triggered volatility in the crypto market, with Bitcoin plummeting to near $80,000 on November 21. Bitcoin has since recovered above $90,000 but remains below a short-term resistance at $94,150. Ethereum shows strength, although its upside is capped below $3,200, while XRP is edging closer to $2.00 at the time of writing. Chart of the day: Can Bitcoin hold key support? Bitcoin is trading above the pivotal $91,000 level at the time of writing on Friday, as sellers push to regain control following the recovery from Monday's low of $83,822. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator on the daily chart has maintained a bullish outlook since November 26, when the blue MACD line crossed above the red signal line. Green historian bars above the mean line reinforce the bullish thesis. However, the indicator remains below the same mean line, which could cap recovery potential. BTC/USDT daily chart The descending Relative Strength Index (RSI) holds at 44, suggesting increasing bearish momentum. Bitcoin also sits below the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $98,153, the 100-day EMA at 103,370 and the 200-day EMA at $104,378, all of which may limit rebounds. A break below $90,000 could also accelerate the decline toward $80,000. Altcoins update: Ethereum, XRP upside capped Ethereum is trading above its short-term $3,100 support at the time of writing on Friday. An attempt to push above a descending trendline resistance faltered this week, opening ETH to increasing downside risks. The RSI on the daily chart has declined slightly below the midline, suggesting a bearish bias. Ethereum also sits below the 50-day EMA at $3,350, the 200-day EMA at $3,471 and the 100-day EMA at $3,550, capping potential rebounds. Still, the MACD is rising toward the mean line and has maintained a buy signal since November 25. Green histogram bars are expanding above the mean line, indicating increasing bullish momentum. A break above the descending trendline would reinforce the bullish thesis for a breakout toward $4,000. ETH/USDT daily chart Meanwhile, XRP is trading at $2.06 at the time of writing, with the price below the declining 50-, 100- and 200-day EMAs, which signal a persistent bearish bias. The 50-day EMA at $2.30 caps rebounds, keeping the near-term tone heavy. The MACD indicator eases in positive territory on the daily chart, with the line hovering near its signal and a contracting histogram suggesting waning momentum. The RSI at 42 (neutral-to-bearish) underscores limited buying pressure, and the pair would stay under strain while it holds beneath the moving averages. XRP/USD daily chart The medium-term picture remains pressured for XRP, with the 100-day EMA at $2.46 and the 200-day EMA at $2.49 forming an upper barrier and extending the cap on rallies. At the same time, the SuperTrend prints at $2.40 as immediate resistance. A break above would expose the $2.46–$2.49 area, whereas failure to clear these levels would keep XRP/USD vulnerable to further consolidation.
