Pakistan Sets Hard September 5 Deadline for Crypto Exchanges to Register
# Pakistan Sets Hard September 5 Deadline for Crypto Exchanges to Register Pakistan is taking a definitive step into the global digital economy with a structured, transparent regulatory framework for virtual assets. In a landmark directive issued by the newly established Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), existing Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) have been given until "September 5, 2026", to submit their applications for No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) or face immediate shutdown. According to an official release from PVARA, the nation's virtual asset licensing framework is now fully operational. The regulatory body highlighted that in under six months, Pakistan has transitioned from primary legislation to notified regulations and an open licensing mechanism. ### Key Highlights of Pakistan's New Crypto Regulations Strict Application Deadline: Existing VASPs must apply for NOCs by September 5, 2026. Failure to comply will result in an immediate mandate to cease all domestic operations. Banking Rails Opened: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has formally lifted previous restrictions on virtual currencies, instructing regulated commercial banks to open rupee accounts for PVARA-licensed VASPs and their user bases. Separation of Client Funds: To safeguard investor capital and prevent co-mingling, banks must establish segregated, non-remunerated rupee accounts dedicated strictly to client funds. Commercial Bank Ring-Fencing: While commercial banks can provide transactional rails, SBP strictly prohibits financial institutions from trading, holding, or investing in virtual assets using bank capital or customer deposits. Compliance Standards: Financial institutions and VASPs are subject to rigorous Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and risk-profiling obligations. ### A New Chapter for Pakistan's Digital Asset Landscape Despite previous regulatory ambiguities, industry analysts estimate that Pakistani citizens have invested billions of dollars across local and global digital asset platforms. Recognizing both the potential economic value and the necessity for investor protection, Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance spearheaded the creation of the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) and established PVARA as an autonomous oversight body to supervise licensing, digital asset policies, and legal compliance. Local financial institutions acknowledge that while crypto assets carry inherent volatility, providing clear legal boundaries and oversight creates a safer ecosystem for retail and institutional participants alike. By transitioning from total restrictions to a compliant licensing model, Pakistan joins a growing list of nations opening their doors to the broader Web3 economy under strict accountability standards. BTC Breaks 3-Month High Above $80K: Next Target $100,000?

Google's Favorite Source Bitcoin rose above $80,000 to hit a more than three-month high on Tuesday as a soft US dollar, in the wake of the moves by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to calm the bond market, revived momentum in the crypto sector. US President Donald Trump last week called on Congress to pass a bill that would bring clearer definitions to the growing cryptocurrency sector. The world's largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin, has increased 16% since then. In Asian hours, it was last at $80,323.24; earlier, it had reached $81,237.94, its highest level since mid-May. So far in August, $BTC Bitcoin has gained 28 percent, reaching its highest monthly gain since November 2024. The US Treasury's announcement last week of plans to buy back more long-dated bonds to help limit gains in long-end yields gave crypto currencies a boost as well. This move has caused investor anxiety, and the US dollar has been bearing the brunt of it. Tim Sun, senior researcher at HashKey Group, said Bessent’s messaging has reinforced the market’s view that, at least through the midterm elections, US policymakers may have a lower tolerance for a further rise in long-end yields. Sun stated, "That would create a macro backdrop for assets such as bitcoin and gold that is relatively supportive." Gold has also benefited from the weaker dollar, reaching a three-month high. Geoff Kendrick, Standard Chartered's global head of digital assets research, said in a note last week that the Treasury announcement is "exactly the type of thing bitcoin loves." He added that bitcoin was designed to give investors a way to avoid this kind of intervention. The move stoked more discussion about the so-called debasement trade, in which buybacks are used to prevent long-end yields from reaching market-clearing levels, causing pressure to shift to the currency market instead of the bond market. “This (Treasury announcement) prompted buyers to scramble into physical and digital assets as debasement trade fears re-emerged,” said Tony Sycamore, market analyst at IG. “A sustained break above here would open the door for a move towards $95,000 and $100,000.” #BTC #US #BrentCrudeTops$100
Honestly, crypto is looking interesting right now. One thing I've learned is that "you don't need to catch every pump".Sometimes the best move is simply to wait and be ready. I'm keeping a close eye on $BTC , $ETH and $BNB. If Bitcoin $BTC stays strong, we could see more money moving into altcoins as well. But I'm not rushing into anything. I want to see good support, decent volume and a proper breakout first. ### 👀 What I'm Watching For $BTC , I'm watching how price reacts around important support and resistance levels. For $ETH, I'm looking for strength against Bitcoin. And $BNB is also on my watchlist because strong market conditions can create some interesting setups. But remember: Green candles are exciting. Good entries are better. 😅 Don't buy something just because it's pumping. Have a plan: 👉 Where will you enter? 👉 Where will you take profit? 👉 Where will you exit if you're wrong? That's it. You don't need 20 indicators or 50 different charts. Sometimes keeping things simple works best. ### 💭 My Take I don't know where the market will go next, and honestly, nobody does. But I do know one thing: The people who are prepared usually have more opportunities than the people who chase. So I'm watching the market, staying patient and waiting for the right setup. What are you watching right now? $BTC , $ETH or an altcoin? 👇 Let's hear your pick. 🚀 Not financial advice. Always do your own research and manage your risk. #ETH #BTC #BNB
Today, one of my brothers told me my ranking was up from last week. Honestly, I never expected this. I was just grinding, mining, bidding for the bottom, and doing my thing. Never thought I’d actually see my name on the leaderboard.
Big thanks to all my brothers who stayed with me and supported me throughout the journey. 🤝❤️
Good brothers, I’ll remember you. And when I finally make it, I won’t forget the ones who were here during the grind. 🤧🚀
