Being in crypto since 2017 means I’ve seen this movie before. 🎬
Flashback to May 2019: • Hackers drained 7,000 $BTC from @binance hot wallets in a single transaction. • The entire timeline was in peak panic & FUD mode—just like tonight. • What happened next? @CZ stepped up, used the #SAFU fund to cover 100% of the losses, and not a single user lost a penny.
Today, ~$1.8B in $USDT & $USDC was frozen on-chain within minutes, and the SAFU fund is over $1 Billion strong.
Newcomers panic-sell the FUD. Cycle veterans stay calm.
US Q3 GDP & September PCE data came in right in line with expectations today. 📊 What does this mean for $BTC & Crypto ? • No nasty inflation shock = Macro FUD is off the table for now • Bears waiting for a panic nuke are getting impatient • Focus shifts back to HTF chart levels & liquidity grabs
Remember Grandma’s rule: No FOMO on green candles. No FUD on red candles.

BTC/USDT is trading around $80,760. A move toward $81,164–$81,568 may bring these resistance levels into focus, while $80,189 is a level some traders may monitor for potential downside risk.

Since 2017, here’s what I’ve actually learned in crypto: The market doesn’t make you rich Risk management does. Most people chase profits and stay stuck in the same cycle hoping the next trade will fix everything. Those who learn to control risk slowly build something that lasts. Crypto rewards patience and discipline more than it rewards luck. #BTC #RiskManagementMastery #crypto $BTC
Tracking Benjamin Cowen's bearish BTC roadmap. Where it stands (Oct 29): ✅ Weekly close below $83K again. Closed at $80,048, third red week in a row. ✅ "Fakeout confirmed" (his call after the 2nd close). ✅ Fed didn't hike. Held at 3.75–4.00%, but 10–2: two members wanted a hike. ⏳ Hot PCE. Out at 8:30 ET. Core is expected at +0.3% m/m, so "hot" means above that. ⏳ Oil to ~$120. Brent is already ~$114. ⏳ 10Y back to 5.3%. It's ~5.0% now. ⏳ Stocks drop. S&P 500 is at 7,744 after 3 straight gains. ⏳ Red Q4. Midterm Q4s were red in 2014, 2018 and 2022. Three samples, not a law. ⏳ Long end falls before year end. The roadmap is void if BTC reclaims and holds $83K. A scenario, not a forecast. NFA. $BTC $ETH
Fed decision today (2 PM ET). A hold is the base case, so the rate itself isn't the story. What matters is Warsh's tone. Rates sit at 3.75–4.00% after September's hike inflation is still warm and he doesn't do forward guidance. Any hint of another hike could pressure risk assets Bitcoin included. I'm watching the tone, not the headline. $BTC $ETH
You shouldn’t buy a coin just because of its name. According to CryptoRank, only 8 of the 113 major tokens launched since 2024 are trading above their launch price. First, look at what problem the project solves, why it needs a token, who holds the supply, and when tokens unlock. Hype later, research first.
Since 2017 I've watched the same movie every cycle. The timeline is all green so people buy the top. Price drops 15% fear kicks in and they sell the bottom. Then it recovers without them. Most of us have lived that at least once. It hurts because there was no plan to hold onto. This poster says it better than most trading books: "DO NOT PANIC. ORGANIZE". What actually works: → Write your plan before you enter, while you're calm → Risk 1-2% per trade so one bad call can't end you → Set the stop-loss first then hit buy → DCA when you're unsure instead of going all-in → Stay close to people who share research not hype Big fish love scattered small fish. But a thousand small fish moving together? Nobody messes with that. What's the one mistake that taught you the most? Drop it below no judgment. We all started somewhere. NFA DYOR.
When the market is moving fast, you don’t need to catch every move. Entering because of FOMO often pushes your plan aside, and then emotions start making decisions with every small candle. Before a trade, decide on your setup, entry, invalidation, and risk. If an opportunity doesn’t fit your plan, letting it go is also a decision. The market will be there tomorrow too. Protect your capital and trade with discipline.
BTC is hovering near $80K ahead of today’s Fed decision. On the chart, BTC tested ~$79.25K on Oct 24. A recent Binance analysis identifies $77K $80K as a support zone and $81.3K as resistance levels to watch, not guaranteed. Markets were pricing roughly a 90% chance of a Fed hold, though the statement and guidance may still move markets. Meanwhile, around $10.8B in BTC options are expected to expire on Deribit Friday; notional value isn’t cash changing hands, and expiry alone doesn’t signal direction. My read: reclaim and hold $81.3K, and the structure may improve. Lose $79.25K, and lower support could come into focus. Between those levels, patience may be the better move. TA maps levels. Ripple has received final OCC approval to charter a national trust bank. It can manage RLUSD reserves and provide digital-asset custody. RLUSD will still be issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company this doesn’t make XRP the reserve asset. What could this mean for crypto? #XRP $XRP
