According to the Financial Times, Canada's Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan said it has stopped investing in cryptocurrencies after fully writing off its $95 million investment in FTX last year. It is currently looking at new opportunities in the real estate sector and hopes to expand its exposure to private credit.

Earlier in November 2022, the Ontario Teachers' Retirement Fund of Canada stated that it would write off its $95 million investment in FTX in full at the end of the year. The fund stated that it invested $75 million in FTX International and its US entity FTX.US in October 2021, and then invested another $20 million in FTX.US in January 22.
