AntPool, a mining pool associated with Bitmain, has replaced Foundry USA as the leading Bitcoin mining pool for the first time since January 2022.

The development based on the number of mined blocks per month was recorded for the first time since January 2022, following the active distribution of Bitmain’s latest mining equipment.

The latest data from the Bitcoin network shows that in November, Antpool successfully mined 1,219 blocks, slightly higher than Foundry USA’s 1,216 blocks. Antpool’s mining efforts have brought rich rewards to its customers, accumulating a total of 8,672 BTC, with an additional 83.6 BTC earmarked for repayments.

Foundry USA’s position as the leading mining pool has remained unchallenged since the beginning of 2022, a position boosted by a surge in North American mining activity in 2021 after China imposed strict regulations on the industry.

However, AntPool has been gradually closing in on Foundry USA’s dominance, especially since mid-2022. The growth in AntPool’s mining capacity coincides with Bitmain shipping a large number of Antminer S19XP and S19XP Hydro devices to its U.S. subsidiary in Georgia.

According to TheMinerMag, more than 4,800 tons of these mining equipment were transferred between June and November. It is believed that the cumulative computing power of these imports will exceed 37 EH/s, making a significant contribution to the increase in AntPool's mining output. #AntPool  #比特币矿商
