Maya Protocol was attacked, resulting in losses of about $1.7 million, including 20 BTC and other assets. The team has suspended operations across the entire system to control the damage and address the vulnerability.
About $1.4 million of the lost assets was in BTC, with the remainder worth around $300,000. Maya Protocol said that most of the losses were related to price-spread activities and pool fees under extremely high slippage conditions.
The team is in contact with relevant parties and will look for ways to supplement resources to restore trading operations. There is currently no additional information about the attack direction or when the platform will be back up and running.
