🚨 It turned out that some FTX employees in the USA knew that there was a backdoor in the FTX exchange that allowed Alameda Research to withdraw customer funds! 😱 The LedgerX team discovered this when they examined whether FTX's main ticker could be used in the USA.

- Julie Schoening, LedgerX's risk manager, reported the situation to the manager, but the problem was not resolved.

- Schoening was laid off in August 2022.

- FTX and LedgerX did not comment on the issue.
