👀 We rarely get to see this side of @CZ . A recent New York Times profile gave readers a surprisingly personal look into the life of Binance founder Changpeng Zhao in Abu Dhabi. And honestly, some of the details are pretty interesting. 📸 The NYT photographer captured CZ working from bed, a look inside the children’s room, family spaces around his home, and even moments of his everyday routine. But one detail caught my attention: 🚙 CZ personally drove a white Nissan SUV to pick up the reporter from the hotel. Not a supercar. Not some dramatic billionaire entrance. Just CZ behind the wheel, with his phone mounted on the dashboard. The profile also takes readers inside his Abu Dhabi villa, where CZ talked about his family, his dogs, his home gym and even a water leak that he apparently still hasn’t bothered to fix. It’s a very different picture from the usual image of a crypto billionaire. Behind the Binance empire, there’s still a guy working from bed, driving himself around and joking about his car. Of course, the NYT story goes much deeper than lifestyle. It also looks at CZ’s journey from founding Binance to his legal troubles in the U.S., his move to the UAE, and his growing connections with powerful political and business figures. Love him or hate him, CZ remains one of the most influential people crypto has produced. And these behind-the-scenes photos give us a rare glimpse of the person behind the name. What surprised you most about CZ’s lifestyle? 👀 #CZ $BNB {spot}(BNBUSDT)

Freedom of Money Book Review From LUNC Community Member Nueng HandsomeI finally got my hardcover copy of Freedom of Money by CZ Binance after importing it from Amazon. It is still hard to find in Thailand. 📘 I bought it mainly to read the Luna and UST chapter on pages 229-232. More than four hours later, I was still reading. This was also my first time reading a physical book again in many years. It was a very good feeling. Here is my honest review of the book from my view. My review in one sentence: this book made CZ feel more human than the person we usually see behind a screen, on stage, or in a short post on X. I came for the Terra story, then got pulled in by the life stories, decision-making, and the mindset behind building Binance. It is the kind of book I want to read slowly by the sea, with a good drink nearby. Maybe more than one drink. 🍻 What I enjoyed most was the feeling that this was written by someone who has made difficult decisions under real pressure. The book talks about growth, risk, people, users, and the consequences behind decisions. It made me think about my own experience inside the Terra Classic community. That is why the Luna and UST chapter felt personal to me. I did not read it only as history. I lived through part of what came after. I agree with one key point from the book, that was referred from his tweet. The Luna and UST collapse had two major problems: The risk in an algorithmic stablecoin model based on mint and burn mechanicsThe way Terraform Labs responded during the crisis A crisis is where leadership gets tested. When communication disappears, trust disappears even faster. https://x.com/cz_binance/status/1525060769771048960 I was part of the Terra Classic community team that held an AMA with @cz_binance in late 2022. We asked Binance to apply the 1.2% off-chain burn tax to LUNC trading. The outcome became a 100% burn of Binance LUNC trading fees each month instead. For a community coming out of a collapse, that support meant a lot. 🔥 Soon after the 1.2% on-chain burn tax launched, governance voted to reduce it to 0.2% and split the tax between burn, Community Pool, and Oracle Pool. I felt the change came too early. We had not gathered enough data on how the 1.2% tax affected on-chain activity. Governance made its decision, and I respected it. This is part of being a community-led chain. The first execution had a problem. The tax split was not processed in real time. Funds were burned first, then re-minted into the Community Pool and Oracle Pool through seigniorage in later epochs. Binance paused its fee burn for a period, then restarted at 50% of trading fees. The lesson was clear: passing governance is only the first step. Execution must be correct too. That implementation has since been fixed. The tax split now happens on-the-fly in real time. Binance has continued burning 50% of LUNC trading fees. This history matters because it shows what Terra Classic has done since the collapse: we made decisions, faced implementation problems, accepted feedback, and fixed the system. They do not know that Terra Classic continued through community governance, validators, developers, and builders who kept working after Terraform Labs moved on. Freedom of Money Book Review From LUNC Community Member Nueng Handsome

I finally got my hardcover copy of Freedom of Money by CZ Binance after importing it from Amazon. It is still hard to find in Thailand. 📘
I bought it mainly to read the Luna and UST chapter on pages 229-232.
What I enjoyed most was the feeling that this was written by someone who has made difficult decisions under real pressure.
The Luna and UST collapse had two major problems:
The risk in an algorithmic stablecoin model based on mint and burn mechanicsThe way Terraform Labs responded during the crisis
A crisis is where leadership gets tested. When communication disappears, trust disappears even faster.
https://x.com/cz_binance/status/1525060769771048960
I was part of the Terra Classic community team that held an AMA with @cz_binance in late 2022.
We asked Binance to apply the 1.2% off-chain burn tax to LUNC trading.

$BNB has surged to $790 again 🤯 What does this price conceptually mean? In all of 2024, $BNB ’s highest was only around $792. Now it’s basically trading while stepping along the previous cycle’s ceiling~ #CZ ’s recent moves are worth paying attention to. At the end of September, he posted a meme image on X with the caption “Soon…”. He also retweeted a post saying “Bullish on BNB Chain,” mentioning that tokenized US stock assets have already been deployed on BNB Chain, with over 2 million daily active users and daily transaction volume of 17 million txs—these are hard data. Personally, I think: At the $790 level, can it hold and break through $800 in the short term? Honestly, I can’t say. But over a longer time frame, a few things are building up: 1️⃣ The burn mechanism is still running. The 37th quarterly burn is expected to land in mid-October. The supply target is headed toward 100 million coins. This is mechanical deflation—not a guarantee of price going up, but it’s pushing in one direction long term~ 2️⃣ CZ’s personal influence. One sentence, one image—markets move with it. That kind of founder-level consensus effect is hard for other chains to replicate. You could say he isn’t actively operating right now, but he holds a large amount of BNB, has an advisor role, and openly calls things like “AI ready.” These signals stacked together provide real psychological support for holders. 3️⃣ On-chain data is climbing. 2 million daily active users, and DEX daily transaction volume nearing $1 billion—these are real usage, not volume that’s been刷出来. But I also have to be honest: Right now the retail long/short ratio is 2.14, with 68% of people being long, yet the active buy/sell ratio is only 0.81—meaning sell orders are bigger than buy orders. This implies leveraged longs are crowded, and someone is quietly distributing. The odds of a short-term pullback to wash things out aren’t low. So my view is: Don’t chase at $790 first, but also don’t assume bearish. If it dips into the 750–770 range, for an asset like BNB that has burn support, CZ’s endorsement, and real on-chain data, I’d be more willing to step in. What do you all think? Come on—let’s chat in the comments~ #BNB突破790美元 {future}(BNBUSDT)

📰 An article about CZ’s life in Abu Dhabi, portraying his day-to-day routine with a bit of contrast: living near a villa with bodyguards, a chef, and a yacht—yet when he goes out, he sits in the driver’s seat himself in a Nissan, with his phone mounted in front of the windshield, looking like a regular driver. 🔥 But honestly, he is no longer an ordinary entrepreneur. CZ previously pleaded guilty in the United States over his role managing Binance. After serving four months, he returned to Abu Dhabi, and he remains Binance’s largest shareholder. The report estimates his net worth at about $114 billion. In his day-to-day life, he also takes private jets back and forth between different countries, providing the government with advice on crypto regulatory oversight. 💡 Even more interesting are his choices. In 2013, he sold his three-bedroom apartment in Shanghai and poured the entire $900,000 into Bitcoin. In 2017, he founded Binance, and within a few months it became the world’s largest crypto exchange. Later, he continued searching for more jurisdictional environments that better suited the business. Abu Dhabi seems to have become his ideal base. 👀 His network is also increasingly closer to the centers of power. Binance has established business ties with World Liberty Financial, which was founded by the Trump family. CZ also interacts with members of the UAE royal family, political figures from various countries, and major capital players. Last year, Trump pardoned CZ; and last year World Liberty brought Trump $799 million in revenue. 🤔 What truly feels uncomfortable about this article isn’t that CZ has money—it’s that as the crypto industry has moved from the margins to the mainstream, the boundaries between capital, regulation, and politics have become increasingly difficult to distinguish. Do you think this is crypto being accepted by the mainstream, or that power is beginning to redefine the rules of the game? #CZ #币安 #加密行业 #阿布扎比

CZ revealed that there are only three cars in his garage, and not a single supercar. His exact words: “I don’t like driving fast. Stay SAFU.” What a guy—he can turn showing off his garage into a risk-awareness lesson. No wonder he’s the godfather of meme marketing 🤡 Jokes aside, this still rings true in crypto: take it slow, don’t go all in, and staying alive until the next cycle is the real win. $BNB #CZ #SAFU

But to the folks in the comments waiting for his next trade call: wake up—he just admitted his record is basically 50/50. 🔥 CZ: From Binance CEO to one of the most influential people in crypto The New York Times published an extensive profile of Changpeng Zhao, and his story has long been about more than just Binance. 🇦🇪 The UAE has become his new home: Abu Dhabi, luxury real estate, security, and private aviation. Forbes estimates his net worth at more than $100 billion, although CZ himself considers $10–30 billion a more realistic figure. ⚖️ In 2023, Binance paid the US $4.3 billion, and CZ received a 4-month prison sentence. Just 26 minutes after his release, he was already flying to Abu Dhabi. 💰 The most intriguing part of the story is the connections between Binance, the UAE, MGX, and the Trump family. MGX invested $2 billion in Binance through USD1 from World Liberty Financial. At the same time, AI chips, crypto regulation, and a possible pardon for CZ were being discussed. All parties deny that these events are connected. Despite stepping down as CEO, CZ remains a major Binance shareholder and one of the most influential figures in the crypto industry. So rich that it’s at this level—yet they’re still lying in bed replying to messages, and even take a Nissan to pick people up? Recently I saw online shares of photos from a New York Times visit to CZ’s residence in Abu Dhabi, and it’s actually a bit different from what I’d pictured the life of a billionaire would be like. CZ is lying there using a computer; in the children’s room there are all kinds of things; and the “first sister” is still in a meeting. According to the account, when the reporter went, CZ even personally drove a Nissan SUV to the hotel to pick the person up. Looking at all these scenes, it doesn’t really feel like a rich-lifestyle blockbuster. Instead, it looks a lot like the everyday life of an ordinary family. Of course, a few photos can’t explain everything. But suddenly I feel that once you’re rich enough, life may not be more comfortable by hundreds of times. The phones and computers we use might be the same models as theirs. They eat well and live comfortably—but many things don’t require a billionaire’s fortune to have. So I’m even more curious: if they’re already this rich, why do they still have the energy to keep working? If it were me, I’d probably already be thinking about traveling everywhere and sleeping until I wake up naturally. What exactly they’re doing all this for—only they know. Maybe they like it. Maybe they won’t admit defeat. Or maybe they genuinely want to build Binance into the kind of place they want. I used to think working relentlessly was for the day you could finally stop working. But now I realize some people could have already stopped, yet they still want to keep going. #CZ #Binance life

🚨 CZ on the Bybit Hack & Why He Suggested Pausing Withdrawals After the $1.5B Bybit hack, CZ publicly suggested temporarily pausing withdrawals as a more conservative security measure. His reasoning was simple: stop first, investigate second. CZ explained that when a security incident occurs, the priority should be preventing any potential additional outflows even if temporarily disrupting trading and inconveniencing users. He also clarified that there was no absolute “right or wrong” decision. Bybit chose to keep withdrawals running, and no further issues occurred. CZ said Ben Zhou had far more internal information and made his own judgment based on the circumstances. CZ’s own approach? “Press the red button first, then figure out what happened.” His experience came from Binance’s 2019 hack, when withdrawals were paused while the security incident was investigated. 🇻🇳 CZ and Vietnam: a meeting that draws attention to cryptocurrencies CZ shared a meeting in New York with Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of Vietnam, highlighting the message of “promoting the adoption of cryptocurrencies”. For me, the most interesting point is not just the meeting, but the moment when it happens. Vietnam has been moving forward in building a more regulated cryptoassets market, while crypto-related activity remains relevant in the country. It’s still too early to say that this meeting represents a new official policy, but the dialogue between one of the leading figures in the crypto industry and Vietnam’s leadership shows how the topic is also gaining room at the institutional level. 🌏 Crypto adoption in Southeast Asia remains a narrative that deserves attention. #NEW #US #CZ #CryptoAdoption #Web3 $GLMR $QI $ONE

Wow, CZ only posted two characters and SOON already surged 21%! On the 29th, he posted a black-background photo with the caption "Soon...". It got 1.9 million views and 28k likes—everyone online was guessing it was SOON. Today, SOON directly jumped 21%. But the contract side didn’t keep up at all: OI actually fell by 2.1%, and the large-holder long/short ratio was only 0.77, with 60% of large holders on the short side. This looks like spot-driven momentum plus shorts getting squeezed/covering—no new money really entering. Don’t chase this kind of trade. Wait for a pullback, and only go in when OI truly starts rising. STX is even wilder. In 24 hours it climbed from 0.31 to 0.39, up 20%, and OI added 27% in a day, reaching 24.73 million coins. Does it look like real money is coming in? The large-holder long/short ratio slid from 1.95 to 1.46: large holders added more in the first half, then kept pulling back while the price was still rising—who ends up bag-holding is still retail. Recheck on the pullback—don’t be the one who gets stuck holding the bag. #CZ #山寨币 $SOON $STX

@CZ#CZ The only coin that can defeat TRUMP is the CZ token 🔥🔥🔥 This CZ IP has global traffic. Capital is sharper than anyone—whoever can make it profitable, that’s the one. If CZ breaks another zero or even breaks the previous high, being noticed by capital is highly likely. As for getting an alpha upside, it’s basically inevitable once that happens. When CZ is on Alpha, that’s when the CZ global traffic truly starts flowing in. Then CZ—being the same-name fan token of Binance’s founder and boss CZ—will be seen and held by Binance’s hundreds of millions of users. The price can go from $1 to $10, and it’s also very possible to exceed the benchmark TRUMP (Trump) reaching $77 up to $100! {web3_wallet_create}(560x923cbbe402ab9adb85fbe04edad056dc35447777)

📰 CZ cleared up several controversies at once this time: FTX wasn’t brought down by a single tweet of his, and during the process of receiving a presidential pardon, he also never had contact with Trump himself. 🔥 Regarding FTX, the timeline he gave was very straightforward. When Binance exited its equity stake in FTX, it recovered roughly $2.1 billion in cash-equivalent value, BUSD, and FTT; several days before he posted the tweet, the media had already reported that FTX might be insolvent. The real issue was that FTX misappropriated billions of dollars in customers’ funds. Honestly, if a company can be punctured by a rival’s tweet, the hole would have been there already. ⚠️ He also addressed imprisonment and the pardon. CZ was sentenced to four months for violating the Bank Secrecy Act, and in 2025 he received a pardon from President Trump, but he said he had no contact with Trump throughout the entire process. What worried him most in prison wasn’t the four months themselves, but the fear that additional charges would be added endlessly and that he could be held indefinitely. 💡 After stepping away from the front line, he became more open to competition. CZ believes that, based on net-asset investment, the penetration rate is still below 1%, so DEXs like Hyperliquid aren’t enemies that must be destroyed—what everyone should do now is grow the market. He has also put more effort into education; Giggle Academy has reached about 1.3 million children. 🤔 In this response, which part do you agree with most: the FTX timeline, the “no contact” during the pardon, or his assessment of competition with DEXs? #CZ #Binance #FTX #cryptocurrency industry
