A quick TRON technical update to start the day 👀
TRON DAO has announced a mandatory upgrade for node operators.
The new version is GreatVoyage-v4.8.2.3 (Anaxagoras), and node operators are being asked to upgrade as soon as possible to help maintain uninterrupted node synchronization.
This release focuses mostly on backend improvements, including:
Optimizing smart contract storage access in certain edge cases Improving BN128 pairing performance Improving the parsing of node-generated JSON responses
It’s not the kind of update that gets as much attention as price moves, ETFs, or stablecoin headlines.
But this is the infrastructure layer that keeps everything else running.
Wallets, payments, stablecoins, DeFi all of that depends on the network underneath staying stable and up to date.
So if you’re running a TRON node, this is definitely one update not to ignore 😅

$30 TRILLION.

That’s how much value has now moved across the TRON network since launch.

But I think the more interesting story is what comes next.

TRON already carries more than $94B in circulating USDT, while Privy — now part of Stripe — has just expanded its TRON integration with more tools for developers to build wallets, automate transfers, set spending policies, monitor transactions and create stablecoin-powered financial products.

And this is where things start getting interesting.

Moving $30T on-chain proves that TRON already has significant settlement activity. But the next question is whether that infrastructure can increasingly move beyond wallet-to-wallet transfers and into payments, treasury, fintech apps and everyday spending.

There are already signs of that happening.

Privy says Onafriq is using Privy + TRON for treasury operations across its African footprint, while Paystack is building with the same stack for treasury and wallet use cases. Privy is also planning deeper TRON support including gas sponsorship, swaps and x402 payments.

So maybe the next milestone for TRON won’t simply be $40T or $50T in cumulative volume.

It could be something much more practical:

How much of that on-chain liquidity can eventually become money people actually use every day?

That’s the part worth watching.

TRON DAO says the network has now surpassed $30 trillion in total transfer volume after more than 8 years of operation.
The number itself is huge, obviously.
But what interests me more is the consistency behind it.
That $30T didn’t come from one big transaction or one short period of hype. It’s the result of value moving through the network over years.
And when you look at the updates we’ve been following lately — USDT, stablecoins, cross-chain activity, wallets, and broader access — the bigger picture starts to make more sense.
For me, this milestone doesn’t mean TRX has to go up, and it doesn’t mean TRON “wins” against anyone.
What it does show is how much value has already moved through the network.
Now the next question is pretty simple:
How long will it take to go from $30T to $40T? 👀
