🇺🇸 AI models could be just months away from copying themselves across household devices, including smart TVs, fridges and ovens, according to researchers at Anthropic. The company warns that these self-replicating AI agents could spread across internet-connected devices without needing powerful data centers, making them extremely difficult to shut down. Although researchers have not yet demonstrated reliable self-replication on a smart TV, they believe sufficiently capable models could emerge by the end of 2026. Artificial intelligence and nuclear war could threaten humanity with extinction by 2100, according to a major new report published in The Lancet. A panel of 35 global experts identified 17 catastrophic threats to human survival and health, with the malicious use of AI and nuclear conflict singled out as the two dangers with extinction potential. The other 15 threats include climate change, pandemics, pollution, economic inequality and conventional warfare. Researchers assessed risks across 204 countries and territories, warning that these threats could interact and make one another considerably more dangerous. The report doesn't go as far as predicting human extinction by 2100, but warns that decisions made by governments today could determine whether these worst-case scenarios become reality. As things stand, we're probably cooked by 2100, of course. Source: Sky News / Writer: Mhedi $AI {spot}(AIUSDT) $MAGIC {spot}(MAGICUSDT) $VIRTUAL {spot}(VIRTUALUSDT)

Scientists may have finally solved the mystery of how a gigantic cloud forms on Mars, stretching up to 1,800 kilometres across the planet's sky. The cloud appears near Arsia Mons, a massive Martian volcano, every spring and summer, but scientists have struggled to explain how such an enormous cloud of ice particles can form in Mars's thin atmosphere. Using observations from the Mars Express spacecraft, researchers found that powerful winds push moist air several kilometres upwards within minutes, cooling it so rapidly that water vapour freezes directly into ice particles. What makes this unusual is that ice clouds normally form around tiny particles of dust, but this cloud appears to form without them, through a process previously considered unlikely to occur naturally under these conditions. The discovery could help scientists understand unusual cloud formation on other planets, including worlds beyond our solar system. Source: NDTV / Writer: Mhedi $MARSCOIN {spot}(MARSCOINUSDT)

Ukraine has struck a Yandex data center in Russia's Vladimir region, completely shutting down the facility. This is the third Yandex data center Ukraine has struck so far. 🇪🇺🇺🇸🇷🇺 Trump wants RUSSIAN DIESEL back on the market. Europe wants to make sure Russia earns as little as possible from selling it. And that puts Washington and Brussels in a rather awkward position. Trump has announced a deal with Putin to bring millions of tons of Russian diesel onto global markets, hoping to bring down fuel prices for Americans. Now, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas is warning that easing sanctions would help Moscow finance its war in Ukraine. She says Russian strikes have killed more than 80 Ukrainian civilians in just two days. Brussels, meanwhile, is preparing its largest round of sanctions listings against Russia's war machine since the invasion began. The interesting part is that neither side is pretending the other's problem doesn't exist. Trump has American farmers, truckers and consumers struggling with fuel prices. Europe has a war on its doorstep and little appetite to help Russia pay for it. But there's an obvious contradiction here. Washington is trying to get more Russian fuel onto the market while Brussels is trying to squeeze the very country supplying it. EU foreign ministers are expected to approve new sanctions on Monday. I'm curious how much longer the U.S. and Europe can keep calling this a common Russia policy when they're increasingly working against each other's objectives. 🇷🇺 Increasingly TERRIFYING CLAIMS coming out about the PLAGUE SCARE in Siberia and I think the internet is getting dangerously far ahead of what we actually know. A 28-year-old researcher at Russia’s Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute died after developing a mysterious pneumonia. Around 200 contacts were quarantined. There are reports that she may have broken a test tube containing plague bacteria. But here’s the important part: We STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW that she died of plague. Russian authorities say testing has found NO PLAGUE among her contacts, and WHO says Russia has reported no confirmed cases in Irkutsk... Now to the BIOWEAPON claims, that are another leap entirely. Russia inherited a Soviet program that developed ANTIBIOTIC-RESISTANT plague for BIOLOGICAL WARFARE. That history makes transparency about what this laboratory was working on extremely important. But there is CURRENTLY NO EVIDENCE that the researcher was infected with an engineered or weaponized strain. This story is potentially serious enough without inventing the scariest version of it. Open interest is up 351% in 24 hours, and the crowd went from heavily long (L/S 2.48) to roughly even (1.01) during the run. A lot of new shorts opened into the move. Funding is now at -2%, the cap. Shorts pay 2% of their position every 8 hours, about 6% a day if it stays there. Something has to give. Either spot cools off and the futures discount closes, or the shorts keep paying while price holds, and the longer they wait, the more expensive staying in gets. {spot}(RLCUSDT)

🚨 SAYLOR JUST EXPLAINED HOW STRATEGY TURNS BITCOIN INTO “DIGITAL CREDIT” The idea is simple: $BTC = Digital Capital $MSTR = Digital Equity $STRC = Digital Credit → MSTR gives investors amplified BTC exposure through Strategy’s balance sheet. → STRC is designed for a different profile: USD income, lower volatility and shorter-duration characteristics. → Strategy manages BTC, dollars, debt, preferred stock and common equity together to control liquidity, seniority and payment obligations. → STRC can be issued above par or repurchased below par, depending on market conditions and available capital. → USD reserves are separated into payment coverage and deployable capital, so the same dollar isn’t counted twice. → Dividend rates can be adjusted based on demand, market price, competing yields, credit conditions and reserve coverage. 🚨 SAYLOR JUST EXPLAINED HOW STRATEGY TURNS BITCOIN INTO “DIGITAL CREDIT”

The idea is simple:

$BTC = Digital Capital
$MSTR = Digital Equity
$STRC = Digital Credit

→ MSTR gives investors amplified BTC exposure through Strategy’s balance sheet.

The bigger idea:

Strategy is trying to build a capital structure where Bitcoin’s volatility is pushed more toward common equity, while preferred investors receive a more income-focused security.

📊 THE 3-PART FRAMEWORK

> Strip volatility → reduce BTC exposure for credit investors

> Compress duration → improve cash-flow timing and price sensitivity

> Extract yield → turn BTC-backed corporate capital into income-producing securities

And there’s an important distinction 👀

STRC is perpetual preferred equity, not a bank deposit or a guaranteed claim on Bitcoin. Dividends, liquidity and principal are not guaranteed.

Saylor’s broader vision is to make Digital Credit a standalone financial business built on top of Bitcoin capital.

Bitcoin is the capital base.

Strategy is trying to engineer the credit layer around it.
