U.S. spot Solana ETFs pulled in about $188 million in one week, one of their strongest weekly inflow periods since launch. Bitwise's BSOL alone accounted for roughly $128 million.
At the same time, SOL has climbed roughly 68% over the past two months, reaching around $124 recently.
But after a move this large, traders naturally start asking:
Can the momentum continue?
Or does SOL need a pause before the next major move?
The ETF numbers are definitely worth watching.
$SOL
What do you think matters more here โ ETF demand or price momentum?
Bitcoin is holding around $84K. But the real battle may not be on the chart.
$BTC briefly moved toward $85K before settling back around the $84K area.
At the same time, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded strong inflows, with about $2.65 billion flowing in across five consecutive sessions through Wednesday.
So why isn't Bitcoin simply breaking higher?
One answer may be the bond market.
The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield moved above 5.2%, creating pressure on risk assets.
Is Bitcoin's rally actually stronger than it looks?
Here's the interesting part.
$BTC climbed more than 10% over the past week, while recent spot ETF inflows have provided additional support. One recent report put the weekly ETF inflows near $1 billion.
But BTC has now pulled back significantly from its recent $87K area.
So there are two forces to watch:
Institutional demand vs. short-term profit-taking.
Which one wins could determine what happens next.
Take a look at $BTC .
Are buyers still in controlโor is the rally losing momentum?
Bitcoin's rally has another side that traders shouldn't ignore.
When $BTC moved above $87K, futures open interest jumped sharply, with more than $2 billion in additional futures bets reported after the move above $82K.
That can make a rally more explosive.
But it can also make a reversal more violent.
Why?
Because highly leveraged positions can be forced to close when price moves against them.
So the question isn't just:
โWhere is $BTC going?โ
It's also:
โHow much leverage is sitting behind this move?โ
One interesting development this week is that Glassnode's altcoin cycle signal reportedly shifted from a Bitcoin bias toward altcoins as market participation broadened.
But calling it a full-blown โaltseasonโ would be premature.
The real thing to watch is breadth:
Are more coins participating in the move?
Or are only a few big names carrying the entire market?
