On Binance Stock Trading, the Stop Limit order has two different prices. The stop price determines the activation moment. When the market reaches it, the system creates a regular Limit order with the specified limit price. This does not mean that the trade has happened yet.
The reason is simple: a Limit order is executed only at the specified price or better. If, after activation, the market quickly moves past the limit price, creating a price gap or immediately reversing, the order may remain open until a new price match, cancellation, or the order’s time-in-force expires.
