When we think about crypto security, we usually focus on strong passwords, 2FA, anti-phishing codes, and protecting our devices.
But there’s another situation we often forget about:
What happens to your crypto if you suddenly become unable to access or manage your account for a long period of time or permanently?
An unexpected accident, hospitalization, or other unforeseen circumstance could leave your assets inaccessible to the people who may eventually need to handle them.
This is where Binance’s Emergency Contact feature can be useful.
👤 Add Someone You Trust
You can add an emergency contact to your Binance account through:
Binance App → Security → Emergency Contact
You need to provide at least one contact method: a phone number, email address, or both.
You can also add an optional secondary emergency contact.
⏳ What Happens If You Stay Inactive?
You can set an Inactivity Period for your account.
If your account remains inactive beyond that period:
1️⃣ Binance will first try to contact you.
2️⃣ If you still haven't logged in after the selected Initial Contact Duration, Binance will begin contacting your emergency contacts.
3️⃣ Your primary and secondary contacts will be contacted simultaneously.
4️⃣ Communication is sent through email and SMS, with messages sent every 7 days from the first contact.
❤️ Why Does This Matter?
Crypto gives you control over your assets, but that also means you need to think about what happens if you’re no longer able to exercise that control yourself.
Depending on the circumstances, your emergency contacts may be eligible to inherit or receive ownership of your assets.
This isn't about expecting something bad to happen.
It's simply about being prepared.

Binance Account Hack হয় কিভাবে জানেন? Hacker Password পেলেই সব Coin তুলে নেয় ☠️ কিন্তু 1টা Setting On থাকলে Hacker Coin তুলতেই পারবে না।
সেটা হলো "Withdrawal Whitelist" - 2 মিনিটে শিখুন 👇
1. Withdrawal Whitelist কি? 🤔
সহজ কথা: এটা একটা Lock. আপনি Binance কে বলে দিবেন "আমার Coin শুধু এই 2-3টা Address এই পাঠানো যাবে"।
মানে: Hacker যদি অন্য Address এ Coin পাঠাতে চায়, Binance Block করে দিবে ❌
Example: আপনার Trust Wallet এর Address Whitelist এ Add করা আছে। Hacker এর Address নাই। তাই Hacker Coin নিতে পারবে না।
2. কেন এটা 2026 এর Must Use Feature? 🚨
Binance Report: 95% Hack Case এ User এর Whitelist Off ছিলো।
Hacker রা Phishing Link দিয়ে Password + 2FA নিয়ে নেয়। কিন্তু Whitelist On থাকলে Coin বের করতে পারে না।
এটা আপনার Account এর Last Defense Line 🛡️
3. On করার 4টা Step - 1 মিনিটে ✅
Step 1: Binance App → Profile Icon → Security
Step 2: "Withdrawal Whitelist" খুঁজে On করুন
Step 3: আপনার Personal Wallet Address Add করুন। 1বার Add করলে 24 ঘন্টা Lock থাকে।
Step 4: Email + 2FA Confirm করুন
Important: নতুন Address Add করলে 24 ঘন্টা Withdrawal বন্ধ থাকে। এটা Hacker কে আটকানোর জন্য। তাই Emergency এর আগে Address Add করে রাখুন।
4. Pro Tips 💡
Tip 1: Minimum 2টা Address রাখুন। 1টা নষ্ট হলে আরেকটা থাকবে।
Tip 2: Exchange এর Address Whitelist এ Add করবেন না। শুধু নিজের Wallet.
Tip 3: Whitelist On করার পরও 2FA + Anti-Phishing Code Must Use করবেন।
মনে রাখবেন: Password Leak হতে পারে, 2FA Hack হতে পারে, কিন্তু Whitelist থাকলে Coin Safe ✅
