Platinum: +25%
Palladium: +22%
This is not just “risk control.”
👉 It forces liquidations.
Most traders use leverage.
When margins jump suddenly, they must sell fast or exit.
What this causes:
Momentum dies
Liquidity disappears
Crowded longs unwind quickly

Physical prices are much higher than paper prices.
That means the market is under stress.
So what does the exchange do? They raise margins.
