GWEI Trading Competition on Binance Alpha: Rewards and Key Rules
Binance Wallet launched a trading competition for ETHGas (GWEI) on Binance Alpha, with a total prize pool valued at up to US$200,000.
The event is split into two periods: from August 21 to August 28, 2026, and from August 28 to September 4, 2026. In each period, the 2,000 participants with the highest volume of GWEI buys will share 4.4 million GWEI tokens, equivalent to 2,200 GWEI per eligible user.
The ranking depends not only on the actual volume bought. Binance will apply multipliers to favor those who participate early: trades from the first two days receive a multiplier of up to 3x, which decreases gradually throughout the week. In addition, users considered “Rising Traders” may receive an extra boost on a portion of their volume.
Only GWEI purchases made via Binance Wallet (Keyless) or Binance Alpha count, after pressing the “Join” button. Sales, transfers between networks, and trades from third-party dApps are excluded.
