🚨 $17 MILLION CRYPTO ATTACK — 2.3 BILLION TOKENS INVOLVED.
An attacker targeted infrastructure linked to Fetch.ai, NuNet and SingularityNET, minting or draining roughly 2.3 BILLION tokens across five assets, according to PeckShield.
The attacker reportedly:
Drained 8.7M FET
Minted 408.5M NTX
Minted 896M AGIX
Minted 500.5M WMTX
Minted 492.4M CGV
And drained another $289,575 from a USDC payroll contract.
Around $2.25M has reportedly been cashed out, with most of it coming from selling FET.
Bitquery also traced an initial sweep of ETH and BNB from 16 wallets.
Four wallets were labelled as SingularityNET or NuNet staff wallets, raising concerns about a potentially broader compromise of interconnected infrastructure.
And the most alarming detail:
3 of the 5 compromised signing keys reportedly had STILL NOT been replaced when the report was published.
This isn’t just a token drain.
It raises serious questions about key security, infrastructure access and the risks of interconnected crypto ecosystems.
