Base has just launched the Builder Grant Program, providing teams building on the Base chain with seed funding of up to $5,000, along with marketing promotion and product support.

The priority areas are quite clear: prediction markets, token launch platforms, AI agents (including the x402 protocol and autonomous trading), consumer-grade applications, and DeFi scenarios such as lending, leveraged lending, yield strategies, treasuries, and tokenized stocks.

The application bar is not low. It requires teams to already have a live product, be focused on the Base ecosystem, and genuinely need market and growth support. The program is best suited for teams that are "already up and running, and just need the final push."

What’s even more interesting is that in the comments, Base revealed that a Creator Program for creators is also on the way. There’s a good chance that future airdrops and support rounds will rotate, so on-chain active creators can position themselves early.
