Vision and Mission
#Canton In general, Canton’s vision and mission can be summarized as:
Vision: To build a global on-chain capital market that operates 24/7, connecting traditional finance (TradFi) with secure, private, and fully interoperable blockchain infrastructure.
Mission:
To provide an institutional-grade Layer-1 blockchain with configurable privacy, regulatory compliance, and interoperability across institutions.
To enable native tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) (not merely “wrapped”), so that banks, exchanges, and asset managers can issue and manage assets directly on-chain.
To use the Daml smart contract language (developed by Digital Asset since 2019) for secure, auditable business logic.
