DCA Diary | Day 8 of 30

After 8 days of the experiment, the value of the three assets is now 2,441.42 USDT, compared with the 2,394.46 USDT I’ve invested so far.

Current result: an unrealized profit of 46.96 USDT, or about 1.96%.

But the surprise came from SpaceX via bStocks: the value of my holdings reached 843.02 USDT, with a current profit of around $43.

🚀 How I Turned a -$34 Loss into a Winning Trade: The Power of DCA! 💎

Hey Binance Fam! I wanted to share a quick update on my Jupiter ($JUP ) trade and how staying calm during a market dip completely changed the game for me.
A while back, I made my first entry into JUP at $0.3570 with $185. Soon after, the market pulled back, and the price dropped all the way to $0.3132. At that point, my portfolio was showing a loss of around $32 to $34.
Instead of panicking and selling at a loss, I used a professional trader’s best weapon: DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging). I safely added more to my position at that lower $0.3132 level.
The Result?
• My overall average cost price dropped beautifully to $0.3159.
• With JUP currently bouncing back around $0.3146, my loss has basically vanished—down to just a tiny -$3.62!
My Game Plan Going Forward:
1. Take Profit at Break-even: I am setting a Limit Sell Order for 50% of my JUP tokens at $0.3570. This will instantly pull my initial investment out safely with a nice little profit.
2. Let the Rest Ride Long-Term: The remaining 50% will be purely "risk-free" tokens. I am holding them all the way to JUP's psychological target of $1.00, and ultimately its previous peak of $2.00 during the height of the Bull Run!
3. Keep Cash as King: I am keeping $338 USDT in reserve. If the market gives us another juicy dip down to $0.25 or $0.20, I will be ready to scoop up way more tokens at a massive discount.
Crypto rewards the patient. Never invest all your capital at once, always keep a backup, and let DCA do the heavy lifting for you! 🧘‍♂️💼

As of 21.10, it’s worth $745.23. My cost basis is $726.67.

On 15.10 it dipped, so I bought more, as I do every day with DCA. On 16.10, I had 0.43338685 BNB in my account, and by 21.10 it was already 0.4843595193, worth $360.96.

So I’m in the green. Not by much, but still in the green)

And honestly, I have no idea what happened here. Did DCA work? Or did the market simply bounce back, and I’m taking credit for a move that had nothing to do with me? And will I give these gains back at the very first dip...

The plan: keep DCAing into $BNB every day; I’m not taking profits while I’m in the green.

For context: I have $360.96 in BNB, and almost everything else is in stablecoins: U $8025.96, USDC $731.64, USD1 $601.83, USDT $551.59. So even if the gains disappear, it’ll barely affect my principal. It’ll hurt me, though)

I’ll check where the price and cost basis are on 2026-10-28.
