$How to avoid the triangular transfer scam on Binance P2P
Today I want to share with you one of the most common scam methods in P2P trading in Venezuela so you can learn to protect your funds and trade with complete security
This method happens when a person contacts you outside the platform or places an order on P2P and makes the mobile payment or bank transfer from a third party’s bank account—that is, a person different from the Binance account holder
What really happens is that the scammer is using an external victim to have you send the bolivars while the scammer keeps your cryptocurrencies. Days later, the real victim reports the transfer to the bank and your bank account may be blocked due to fraud investigation
To avoid this, always follow these three strict rules
First, never accept payments from third-party accounts under any circumstances
Second, always verify that the name of the person sending the mobile payment matches exactly the verified name in the Binance order
Third, if you receive a payment from a third party, do not release the cryptocurrencies. Open a dispute immediately and report the case to the platform’s technical support
Protect your capital and trade safely
