Some Web3 Projects Don’t Build Communities — They Harvest ThemIn Web3, the word “community” gets used a lot. Almost every project says it cares about its people. Almost every roadmap talks about loyalty, shared vision, and long-term building. But the truth is: not every project wants a community. Some only want attention, numbers, and noise. You can usually feel the difference early. A real community is built on trust, conversation, and a reason to stay even when rewards are low. A fake one is built on pressure, hype, and the constant promise that something big is always “coming soon.” People are pushed to post more, invite more, and grind more, but rarely understand what they are really building toward. From the outside, the energy looks strong. Inside, it often feels empty. That is where the problem starts. Some projects do not see members as people. They see them as distribution. They see them as engagement. They see them as exit liquidity, free marketing, and social proof. And once the campaign ends, the funding slows down, or the narrative stops working, the same people who gave their time and trust are left with silence. This is why so many people feel tired in Web3. It is not only because markets go up and down. It is because many people gave real energy to places that only wanted temporary traction. They joined spaces, supported launches, defended teams, completed tasks, and brought in others — only to realize they were never treated like real participants. They were only useful while the numbers were growing. A healthy community does not need to manipulate people to keep them active. It does not rely only on vague promises, forced positivity, or reward farming. It gives people clarity. It gives them updates, honest communication, and a real role in the journey. It treats trust as something to protect, not something to spend. Web3 does not need bigger communities. It needs more honest ones. Because when a project harvests people instead of building with them, it may gain short-term reach, but it loses the one thing this space cannot survive without: Trust. #Web3 #Community # #web3community #ProjectCrypto

Some Web3 Projects Don’t Build Communities — They Harvest Them

In Web3, the word “community” gets used a lot.
A fake one is built on pressure, hype, and the constant promise that something big is always “coming soon.”
People are pushed to post more, invite more, and grind more, but rarely understand what they are really building toward.
Because when a project harvests people instead of building with them, it may gain short-term reach, but it loses the one thing this space cannot survive without:
Trust.

#standford #PiNetwork Despite skepticism and misinformation, Pi Network is gaining recognition and credibility. It stands alongside major tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, IBM, and Samsung, as acknowledged by Stanford University’s Computer Science and Engineering community. This recognition highlights Pi Network's potential and legitimacy. Rather than listening to negativity, people are encouraged to do their own research, explore the project, and see why Pi Network is positioning itself for the future. 🚨 Warning from Bybit CEO: Pi Network May Be Riskier Than Meme Coins! 🚨

Bybit CEO Ben Zhou has sounded the alarm on Pi Network, suggesting it might pose a greater danger than even the riskiest meme coins. Unlike meme coins, which are often just for fun or speculative trading, Pi Network markets itself as a game-changing digital currency—yet it lacks the transparency needed to back up its bold claims.

⚠️ Red Flags:
🔍 Shady Leadership: The Pi Core Team and its founders have a surprisingly limited online presence, making it difficult to assess their credibility.
📈 Unclear Roadmap: The project's development goals remain vague, leaving potential investors in the dark about its future.
📵 Transparency Issues: A legitimate crypto project thrives on openness and community engagement, but Pi Network falls short on both fronts.

💡 Zhou’s Advice:
✅ Do Your Homework: Thoroughly research any project before investing.
✅ Stick to Proven Players: Focus on established cryptocurrencies with clear, reliable track records.
✅ Avoid Empty Promises: Don’t be swayed by projects that offer easy rewards without substantial proof to back them up.
