Markets are waiting for the latest U.S. CPI numbers today.
The main focus is on whether inflation is cooling or starting to move higher again. Current expectations are for headline CPI to rise about 0.4% from the previous month, while annual inflation is expected around 3.4%.
Core CPI is expected to increase about 0.2% month-on-month.
This report could be important for Bitcoin and the wider crypto market because inflation data can influence expectations for the Federal Reserve’s next move.
If CPI comes in lower than expected, risk assets could get some support.
If the number is hotter than expected, markets could react negatively.
CPI is coming. The next move could be interesting. 👀
Solana has been having an interesting few weeks, and there’s more going on than just the price.
One thing that caught my attention is the growth of real-world assets (RWAs) on Solana. The value of these assets recently passed $4 billion, with more than 350,000 addresses involved.
Payments are also becoming a bigger part of the Solana story. Western Union launched a Visa card connected to a Solana-based stablecoin, while MoneyGram is connecting Solana apps with almost 500,000 cash locations across 170+ countries.
The network itself has also been busy. Solana recorded 216 million non-vote transactions in a single day, showing how much activity the blockchain can handle.
But there is still something to keep in mind: SOL price can move very differently from network growth. Strong adoption doesn’t automatically mean the token price will go up.
For me, the interesting question is whether Solana can continue turning all this activity into long-term usage.
What do you think about $SOL right now — bullish, bearish, or just waiting?
