An ETH transfer fee is not a reliable price quote for a token swap.

On Ethereum, fees depend on both the work a transaction performs and the price charged per unit of that work. Sending ETH is simpler than interacting with a swap contract, so the transactions can cost different amounts even under similar network conditions.

Practical takeaway: check the wallet estimate for the action you actually intend to take. A cheap transfer you made earlier does not establish what your next swap will cost.

For a non-urgent transaction, comparing estimates at different times may help. But waiting is not a guaranteed saving: network demand can rise, and a fee estimate can change before execution.
