For me, it comes down to two things: Can I control its spending, and can I track every payment?

Kite also supports paid API requests through x402, while users can review completed payments and session spending through the Passport dashboard.
But there’s an important catch: staying within budget doesn’t guarantee getting value. An agent might follow every rule and still spend money on useless information.
