🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: Iran just handed Washington a 7-day deadline to end the war, delivered from the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi laid it out plainly: "We have introduced a plan to the United States through the intermediators that if certain conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz would be open on the end of the seventh day and talks would restart."
The conditions, conveyed through Qatar as mediator: end the war on all fronts, halt acts of aggression, lift the US maritime blockade on Iranian ports, and unfreeze Iranian assets.
Araghchi framed it as an echo of the memorandum both countries actually signed back in June, one that collapsed when fighting resumed.
