🚨 $XRP BRIDGE EXPLOIT — ~200K XRP DRAINED 🚨

A serious bridge vulnerability has reportedly allowed an attacker to mint bridged $XRP against deposits that never actually happened.

🔴 The attacker exploited the bridge’s deposit-detection logic
🔴 Bridged XRP was minted without genuine deposits
🔴 The tokens were then swapped for real $XRP
🔴 Around 200,000 XRP reportedly left the bridge across 94 payments
🔴 Each payment was signed by 17 of 28 relayers

The most concerning part? The bridge’s own records treated these fake deposits as legitimate.

⚠️ Important: The XRP Ledger itself was NOT compromised. The issue appears isolated to the bridge infrastructure.

@txEcosystem says bridged $XRP
on its chain is currently no longer fully backed.

This is another reminder:
A bridge can fail even when the underlying blockchain remains secure. 🛡️

Stay alert. DYOR. ⚠️
