BTC's beating alts and it's not close. Twelve months out, BTC's down 45.6%, the equal-weight average of 28 major alts is down 62.2%. In BTC terms the alt complex has lost roughly 30% of its value against bitcoin in a year. Only three of those 28 beat BTC over that stretch — HYPE, TRX, BNB. 11%. But that gap's closing fast. 30% BTC edge over twelve months, 5% over three months, under 4% over the last thirty days. ADA, UNI, ENA, BNB, ETH all beat BTC last month. Not a rotation into alts — the bleed's just slowing down, which has to happen before any rotation can start. Worth noting the other side too: $HYPE , last year's best alt, is down 13% in the past month, worst of the majors. Leadership's churning, not settling. The breadth numbers are the grim part. Of over 13,500 tokens with a market cap, three quarters are down 90%+ from their high. Only 8% sit within 25% of it. That's not a rotation cycle, that's consolidation into a handful of assets. And look who's actually climbing into the top 15, a tokenized home-equity product, exchange tokens, RWA wrappers ,while the 2021-era L1s, $ADA , Litecoin, HBAR, Stellar, are all down 80-94% and quietly getting erased. So capital isn't moving from BTC into alts. It's moving out of speculative L1s and into bitcoin, cash-flowing infrastructure, and real-world assets. The filter that matters isn't "alt" as a category anymore,it's real distribution or real cash flow. Everything else already lost 90%+ and mostly isn't coming back. #Macro Insights# #Altcoin Season# #Meme Alpha#
