Why Walrus WAL Becomes Important as Blockchain Data Keeps Growing
i keep noticing that blockchain data is no longer small or disposable. every new app adds more history, more files, more records that have to stay accessible. over time, that weight changes how systems behave. many chains were built assuming data would stay light, and i think that assumption is starting to crack.
this is where walrus wal makes sense to me. it treats large data as normal, not exceptional. blobs are stored directly, redundancy is planned, and costs stay easier to understand as usage grows. for builders, that means apps can expand without worrying that storage will quietly become the weak point later.
