Recently I came across Fabric Protocol and honestly it feels like a fascinating direction for the future of robotics.
The project is backed by the Fabric Foundation and focuses on building an open network where robots can collaborate share data and verify tasks through a public ledger. In simple words robots can check each other's work using blockchain instead of relying on a single central system.
When I first read about this concept I felt genuinely excited. Robotics and decentralization coming together is something we don’t see explored deeply very often.
But it also made me think.
If robots can verify data and decisions on chain could that improve trust in automation? Imagine factory robots delivery bots or even service robots coordinating safely through a shared system.
However there’s also a realistic concern. Real world robotics adoption usually moves slower than software innovation. Hardware safety rules, and infrastructure take time to evolve.
Maybe that’s exactly why open communities and discussions around projects like this matter so much.
So I’m curious.
