For most transactions, the merchant will take time to settle the transaction, thus the transaction might be in pending status. Once the merchant has settled, this status will become completed.
If your transaction is still pending even after the merchant has cancelled your transaction, do not worry as your funds will be automatically returned to your Funding Account if your transaction is still in pending status after 30 days.
Once your transaction is completed, this means that the merchant has settled your transaction. This is also when your transaction will count towards the cashback spending of that month for your cashback accumulation.

Typically, your refund from the merchant will be processed within 30 business days to your Funding Account in USDC. Please note that fees charged during the purchase will not be refunded.

In case of a refund, Binance has a right to clawback the cashback given to you after the initial settled transaction. This will be adjusted during the refund or reversal of money back into your account. For more details, please refer to How Does the Binance Card - Global Program Cashback Work?.
Adjustments will show on your transaction detail page when there is a clawback involved for cashback, discounts, or debts. In these scenarios, we will settle any outstanding amount during the transaction itself, thus showing as an adjustment in the transaction detail.
