When I first heard that DAO Labs was moving from ilo.dao-labs.com to WhoTweets.com, I thought it was just a website change. After looking into it, I realized it's much bigger than that. The migration introduces a fresh identity along with several upgrades that make the Social Mining platform easier and more rewarding to use.
The name WhoTweets is simple, memorable, and closely connected to what Social Miners do every day—creating, sharing, and engaging with content on X. It gives the platform a clearer identity and makes it easier for new users to recognize and remember.
The migration also comes with useful improvements.
The new dashboard is cleaner and easier to navigate, so finding campaigns and tracking your progress takes less effort.
The updated X scoring system now gives more credit to genuine engagement and trusted accounts, encouraging quality contributions instead of spam.
Another exciting addition is support for Reels and Shorts, giving creators who enjoy making short videos another way to participate.
The Top 100 KOL delegation feature also allows users to pass tasks to trusted contributors when they're unavailable, helping important opportunities stay active. Other updates, such as engagement safety measures, improved onboarding, Meet & Match, and a better validation system with an undo option, all make the platform smoother and more user-friendly.
One thing I appreciate most is that nothing users have worked for is lost. Your account, login details, points, rewards, rankings, submissions, and work history all remain exactly the same. The only thing changing is the web address.
To me, this migration shows that DAO Labs is thinking about the future of Social Mining. It's not just adding new features—it's creating an environment where authentic contributions are rewarded, collaboration is easier, and both creators and Web3 communities can grow together. That's why I see WhoTweets as more than a new domain; it's the next step in the evolution of Social Mining.

One line from DAO Labs' latest article stood out to me:
"Activity alone should never be the final metric."
That's the difference between proof of activity and proof of work.
In Social Mining, it's easy to count posts, comments, and submissions. What's harder is measuring whether those actions actually created value.
As a contributor, I've learned that meaningful validation matters. A task isn't valuable simply because it was completed. The real question is whether it informed people, sparked discussion, supported project goals, or helped grow the community.
DAO Labs' three-stage validation framework—Peer-to-Peer Validation, Quality Validation, and Results Validation—addresses a problem many SocialFi platforms still face: rewarding volume instead of impact.
