Bitcoin (BTC) Technical Analysis: Bullish Trend or Short-Term Correction? 📊

Bitcoin is currently trading around the $77K–$78K area after a powerful recovery from the lower levels. The bigger trend has turned bullish, but BTC is now approaching a major resistance zone where sellers could become active.

📈 Bullish Scenario

BTC is holding above several important moving averages, which keeps the broader structure positive. The 200-day EMA is around $71.7K, while the 20-day EMA has moved above the 50-day and 100-day averages — a constructive sign for the trend.

The key level for bulls is $79.5K–$80K.

If BTC breaks above $80K with strong volume and holds that level, the next upside zones could be around $82K–$85K, with a stronger breakout potentially opening the way toward higher targets.

⚠️ Bearish / Correction Scenario

The biggest warning right now is momentum.

BTC has moved more than 20% higher in a short period, while the 14-day RSI is around 80, indicating an overbought market. Other recent analysis has also highlighted extremely elevated short-term RSI readings.

This does not automatically mean Bitcoin must crash. However, it increases the probability of profit-taking and a healthy pullback.

The first important support zone is $75K–$76K.

If BTC loses this area and fails to recover it, the next levels to watch are around $74K and then the $71K–$72K region.

For me, the setup is:

🟢 Above $80K: Stronger bullish continuation
🟡 $75K–$80K: Consolidation / high volatility
🔴 Below $75K: Short-term bearish pressure increases
🔴 Below $71K–$72K: Bullish breakout structure becomes significantly weaker

So I am bullish on the overall trend, but cautious in the short term. After such a strong rally, BTC may need to consolidate or pull back before attempting another major breakout.

The most important thing now is not to chase the price. Watch how BTC reacts around $79.5K–$80K resistance and $75K–$76K support.
