I cannot get over how Elon handled this whole Binance situation.
The exchange just lost about 6.3 billion dollars in the biggest crypto theft ever recorded. Hackers drained wallets in minutes and experts are pointing at North Korea. Roughly 3 billion has been frozen so far and Binance is scrambling to cover the rest so customers do not lose money.
Right in the middle of that mess Elon starts dropping laughing emojis and posting “everyday is zeroday.” Then he reacts with a grimacing face when people compare CZ’s promises to the FTX collapse. That is not funny. That is cold.
CZ answered the right way. He still showed respect but told Elon straight up it was a bad time to troll. He reminded everyone that Binance put 500 million into the Twitter takeover and those shares are now worth more than a billion in SpaceX. Asking for a little support instead of memes was pure class.
I honestly believe rich people who already have everything should lift each other up when something this big hits. Turning a real crisis into content just makes you look out of touch. Elon missed that completely and CZ came out looking like the adult in the room.

⚠️ After this Binance hot wallet incident, the biggest risk to watch out for over the next few days is “compensation” scams

On the evening of October 29, a large amount of funds was transferred out of a Binance hot wallet under unusual circumstances. On the morning of October 30, Binance’s official Chinese-language account said that nearly $3 billion in related funds had been frozen, and that it was still working with law enforcement and asset issuers to track them down.

The loss figures circulating online vary by several times. How much was actually lost and what happened? We’ll have to wait for an official announcement. For now, I’ll just say one thing that’s certain to happen: scammers will seize this opportunity to strike.

Some of the most common scams:
DMs or group messages with links to “register for Binance compensation,” asking you to connect your wallet or enter your account details
Calls or emails from people impersonating customer support, claiming your account was affected and telling you to transfer your coins to a “safe address”
Fake screenshots of Binance announcements paired with URLs that look almost identical to the real thing

Three things you can do to protect yourself: Check announcements only in the Binance app or on official accounts; never click links in DMs—customer support will never ask you to transfer funds; whitelist withdrawal addresses and revoke any authorizations you don’t recognize.

Compensation doesn’t just fall from the sky. Treat anyone asking you to transfer funds or connect your wallet first as a scammer.
