After the sharp historical sell-off, #SOL has been consolidating rather than establishing a new trend. The latest candles remain below the yellow resistance zone, while the green support area continues to define the lower boundary. Until one side of this range gives way, the structure remains undecided.
What stands out is the repeated rejection from overhead resistance and the failure to build sustained momentum above it. 👀 The deeper support zone is still important if the current base weakens, while a convincing reclaim of resistance would be the first sign that the structure is changing.
For now, patience matters more than forcing a direction. The next clean breakout or breakdown should provide much better confirmation. 🔎
It comes down to how the market is built. Crypto spot markets operate globally across exchanges, without a single central exchange setting universal opening and closing hours.
#Bitcoin itself runs continuously, so trading venues can keep markets open around the clock.
But 24/7 does NOT mean the market has the same liquidity all day.
Kaiko data shows that BTC trading has become increasingly concentrated during traditional U.S. market hours. In 2024, weekend trading accounted for only about 16% of BTC volume, down from 28% in 2019.
That matters because lower weekend activity can mean thinner liquidity and potentially sharper price moves when large orders hit the market.
There is another important piece which is perpetual futures. Unlike traditional futures, crypto perpetuals don't have an expiry date, and they use funding rates to help keep their price aligned with the underlying asset.
So the 24/7 market is not simply about being open every hour.
It is about having a global market structure where price discovery, spot trading and derivatives can continue even when traditional financial markets are closed.
And that is one of the biggest differences between crypto and traditional finance.
The move toward $0.06 was expected as part of the projected wave. However, it was never intended to be a sell signal or a long-term buying opportunity.
As mentioned in my previous analysis, I’m still patiently waiting for the main spot accumulation zone.
The higher probability setup remains the final accumulation area highlighted on the chart.
