Brickken TVL went from $12.18M in Nov 2024 to $42.36M in Oct 2026
That’s around 248% growth.
The numbers show how far the project has come. Behind the figures, @Brickken continues building the infra needed to issue, manage & oversee tokenized RWAs.
Tokenization can expand a business, but it cannot replace a solid business model.
That point from @edwin_mata at @CoinFerenceX deserves more attention.
His example was a fund issuing a bond. These are traditional financial instruments. The opportunity lies in using technology to broaden investor access and automate parts of the process.
The value goes beyond putting assets onchain.
- Broader investor access, subject to eligibility requirements - Automation across the asset lifecycle - More efficient investor and asset management
The underlying business and legal structure still matter. Tokenization can improve how a financial structure operates, but it cannot guarantee success.
@Brickken is building the infrastructure to bring financial assets onchain.
Bullish on the rails being built for the next era of tokenized finance.
An AI agent can have an identity and still have too much power.
The part of @Brickken’s ERC-8226 approach I find strongest is the focus on authority.
ERC-8004 provides an identity registry for agents, while ERC-8226, currently a Draft, focuses on a different question:
What is this agent actually authorized to do?
A mandate can define:
- The actions an agent can perform - Financial limits - How long the authority remains active - When the mandate can be revoked - The assets and conditions covered by that authority
ERC-8226 also defines a model where the regulated asset can verify the agent’s mandate before an agent initiated action. Asset eligibility and agent authority remain separate checks.
That separation matters.
AI agents can handle execution, but regulated markets still need a verifiable record of who authorized the action and within what limits.
@Brickken is working on that mandate layer through ERC-8226.
RWA is starting to look less like a narrative and more like an actual financial stack.
Seeing @Brickken among the 18 members of the @RWAFoundation fits the direction I’ve been watching across tokenization.
Think about an institution bringing a private asset onchain.
Issuing the token is only the first step.
The asset still needs compliance, investor onboarding, lifecycle management, reliable data, market infrastructure and a way to work with other systems.
That’s where I see Brickken’s role becoming more important.
@Brickken is building infrastructure for issuing and managing tokenized assets, while also working on open standards, agentic capital markets and connections with market infrastructure like @redstone_defi.
Two recent @Brickken moves connect different parts of the same problem.
First, the partnership with @redstone_defi brings eligible tokenized assets closer to the infrastructure they need after issuance, including market data, Credora risk ratings, and T+0 settlement for supported liquidations.
Then Brickken joined @LFDecentralized to work on open standards for tokenized assets and agentic capital markets, covering areas like asset interfaces, verifiable claims, and delegated authority.
The bigger picture starts to become clearer.
- Assets need reliable market data - Markets need risk information - Systems need interoperability - Agents need clear and verifiable authority
Tokenization is only one layer.
The harder part is building the infrastructure that lets tokenized assets actually move, interact, and operate across a broader financial system.
That’s the direction I’m seeing from @Brickken. It’s less about issuing assets alone and more about the infrastructure around them.
Its move from $25M to $28M happened through the BKN 2.0 migration, showing the level of participation from holders as the new token infrastructure came online.
I like seeing holders choose to stay involved and put their $BKN to work.
Meanwhile, @Brickken keeps building the infrastructure around it, from compliant asset issuance and investor onboarding to lifecycle management.
October is just approaching, but @Brickken already has a solid lineup.
📍 October 3–11 @TOKEN2049 week in Singapore, with Brickken on the ground across the city.
📍 October 5–6 @CoinferenceX at Gardens by the Bay, where Brickken CEO @edwin_mata will speak about tokenized funds, Treasuries and private credit at scale.
📍 October 10 The Paddock, Brickken’s curated networking event during F1 weekend at the Mandarin Oriental.
Three different rooms. One bigger conversation around tokenized markets, RWAs and agentic capital markets.
I’m watching the project behind it just as closely.
@Brickken keeps expanding its work around tokenized assets, compliance and programmable capital markets, while also exploring how AI agents can interact with regulated onchain infrastructure.
That combination is becoming more relevant as RWAs move from experiments toward real financial use cases.
And starting tomorrow September 16, @Brickken starts a busy day in Barcelona with @EBlockchainCon until September 17, followed by @ETHSpain_ on the same date.
