✉️ Aztec — Finalists of the selection of sequencer concepts
Aztec has presented the finalists from its request to select sequencer proposals:
- B52, which fixes MEV in the protocol to force builders to participate in the auction at the first price for profitable blocks.
- Fernet, which assigns a random secret score to each sequencer to rank them, and then each sequencer can decide whether to offer a block or not based on their expected rank.
In addition, Espresso Systems receives two retroactive grants for their Irish Coffee and Espresso Martini offerings, forming key solutions in the Fernet protocol.
Aztec has also announced a partnership with the industry-leading research and integrated systems engineering firm BlockScience to provide an independent third-party perspective.
