Spent the afternoon poking around Babylon's numbers and kept landing on the same one — $BABY sitting at $0.01094, down close to 15% over 7 days, market cap barely $44M. Grabbed a snack, came back, hadn't moved. That gap is what actually stopped me mid-scroll.

Been reading through Babylon's docs this morning, and one idea kept sticking with me long after I closed the page.

I used to assume that once Bitcoin was helping secure another network, getting it back would naturally depend on validators doing their job. That felt like the obvious trade-off. But Babylon's design challenged that assumption.
The docs explain that the withdrawal process is built so it doesn't rely on validators coordinating the exit. That doesn't mean the protocol ignores bad behavior. If someone breaks the rules, slashing is still part of the security model. The interesting part is that honest participants aren't expected to depend on validator cooperation just to recover their own BTC.
