🧭 Beginner tip: Market order vs Limit order
Two buttons, very different results. Here's the quick version 👇
🔹 Market order
✅ Fills right away at the best price available now
⚠️ In fast or thin markets you can get a worse price than you saw (slippage)
🔹 Limit order
✅ You set the exact price you're willing to pay or sell at
⚠️ It only fills if the market reaches your price, so it might not fill at all
💡 Simple rule of thumb
Need it done now? Market.
Care more about the price than the timing? Limit.
Bonus: limit orders that rest on the order book are "maker" orders, and on many exchanges makers pay the same or lower fees than takers (market orders).
