Bitcoin is holding around $77.6K, and the chart is starting to look interesting again.
After pushing to a local high near $82.3K, $BTC has spent weeks consolidating. Price is now back above the 7 day MA at $76.8K and close to the 30-day MA around $77.9K, while the 200-day MA sits much lower near $70.4K.
RSI is around 54, leaving room for another move without looking overheated.
MACD is still negative, but the selling pressure appears to be easing.
Now, the bigger picture also matters. Fear & Greed is neutral at 56, while BTC dominance has slipped to 56.69%. If BTC reclaims $78K and starts building above it, a retest of $82K could come into focus.
So, for now, the key is whether buyers can turn this consolidation into the next breakout. I will be watching from the sidelines, and I will definitely not trade this setup for now.
