Day 24. I spent time today reading about the Bitget hack. $352 million. Roughly 68,500 $ETH moved. North Korea suspected.

What stayed with me isn't the number. It's how quiet the market reaction was.

$BTC barely moved. DeFi tokens actually rallied. The hack dominated crypto news but barely dented prices.

That's not because the hack doesn't matter. It's because exchange security and market sentiment are different things. A hack can be catastrophic for the exchange and its users without being catastrophic for the broader market.

This is a distinction I didn't understand three weeks ago. I would have seen "$352 million hack" and assumed the whole market would drop. Now I'm learning to separate events by scope.

Not every bad news event is a market event. Some are platform events. Some are sector events. Some are macro events. Learning to categorize them is part of reading the market clearly.
