The 1 mistake I made when I first started in crypto (and how to avoid it)
When I made my first trade, I made the classic rookie error: I bought purely out of FOMO at the top of a green candle because everyone on social media was hyped. I had no exit strategy, no stop-loss, and zero patience.
Unsurprisingly, the market dipped, panic set in, and I sold at a loss.
If you're new here, here are 3 quick rules that completely changed how I trade:
1. Never chase a green candle. If a coin is already up 20% today, you've missed the entry. Wait for a pullback.
2. Spot over Futures for learning. Start on
$BTC or
$BNB spot trading so you can learn market structure without liquidation stress.
3. Set your exit BEFORE you enter. Decide where you take profit before you open the trade emotion destroys discipline every single time.
I'm currently watching
$BTC closely as it tests key levels right now.
