Ripple Markets APAC Pte Ltd has received a license to provide digital payment token services from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This will allow the company to provide regulated services in the city-state without restrictions on transactions. Ripple previously received a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license to provide digital payment token services in Singapore. Ripple is now among 15 companies providing such services, including local affiliates of crypto exchanges such as Coinbase, Independent Reserve and Blockchain.com.
