The world lined up for eye scans in exchange for Worldcoin tokens

Thousands of people in various countries of the world, where special Orb spheres are installed, lined up for eye scanning to receive Worldcoin tokens.

The number of active participants exceeded 2 million, Reuters reported, citing its own study.

People scan their irises to receive 25 WLD tokens ($55.75 at time of writing) and a digital ID for free. Points where you can do this have opened in many countries, including Japan, India and the UK.

Participants interviewed by Reuters admitted that they are aware of all the risks of data privacy. However, most users are interested in the development of the project.
