Fed Chairman Jerome Powell expressed satisfaction with progress on inflation but said he wanted to see more progress before being confident enough to start cutting interest rates.

Chairman Powell said he was still worried about cutting too early and threatening progress toward reducing inflation.

Powell spoke at a forum also attended by European Central Bank President 🇪🇺 Christine Lagarde and Brazilian Central Bank Governor 🇧🇷 Roberto Campos Neto.
