Luckily, Binance’s withdrawal whitelist feature saved me. The attacker couldn't bypass it, and I got an instant security notification that alerted me to the risk.
Since then, I’ve become a huge fan of Binance’s 2FA, anti-phishing codes, and address whitelisting. These tools give me confidence to trade, even during volatile market hours.
However, I’ve noticed the alerts can sometimes be excessive, especially during login from trusted devices—maybe a “trusted device” memory feature would help reduce friction.
I’d also love to see:
A cooling-off feature that temporarily locks withdrawals after major account changes (like password resets).
An in-app scam email scanner or warning system.
A blacklist address database users can report to and cross-reference.
These upgrades could prevent users—especially newcomers—from falling victim to fast-moving scams.
