BlockBeats news, on April 26, according to a report by Chainalysis, President Trump and his allies have earned nearly $900,000 in transaction fees from the president's TRUMP cryptocurrency token in the past two days.
Previously, the token announced on Wednesday that it would host a dinner with the president to encourage the top 220 holders to participate. Critics argue that this dinner competition is a blatant attempt to monetize the opportunity for the president to dine.
It is worth noting that since its launch in January, trading activity has generated approximately $324.5 million in transaction fees for insiders. These fees are generated through a built-in mechanism of the token that transfers a certain percentage of each transaction to a wallet controlled by the project—these wallets, according to Chainalysis, are associated with the token's creators.
