I've watched too many charts look "ready" right before price rips through everyone's stops. That's exactly what this SPCXX 1H chart reminds me of, so I'm in no rush here.
Price spiked to 158.06, then bled out, sweeping liquidity down to 146.09 before bouncing. Right now we're at 148.55, sitting directly on the 1H moving averages (MA7 148.24, MA14 148.67, MA28 148.42). That tight compression tells me the market is deciding direction, not trending. The 24h range is only 146.23–149.79, so volatility has contracted. In my experience, compression like this usually precedes expansion, which means the next clean break could run hard.
I don't chase this bounce. The real signal is a clean 1H close back above 149.10, confirming buyers are stepping back in after the sweep. If that happens:
Entry: 149.10–149.40
SL: 146.00 (below the swing low)
TP1: 152.00
TP2: 155.00
Invalidation: Price loses 146.09 with momentum.
My lesson: waiting for confirmation saved me more times than any indicator ever did. If price rejects here instead, I sit on my hands and let the setup come to me.
Are you treating this bounce as a reversal, or just a retest before another leg down?
